Half your kills were from choke too you hypocritical little snot.

And no, close quaters combat is always very similar in every game. Its all reflexes and movement. The way the characters move before they attack is the same in every FPS, including JO.

I take it you know that because you've played JO?

And BTW, I had to use choke to counter you. I'm much better with F4 or something.

What do you suppose they do, Sithman? Radically change the way characters move in FPS? Its still W for forward, S for back, A for left and D for right. If you'd actually look into more than a handfull of games on the market you wouldn't make yoursel flook like such an ass.

Do we have a rivalry being hatched here?

I seemed to own you quite a bit with the Panzerfaust in RtCW. Of course, you were on my team, but that was beside the point! You == owned!

Haha, yeah. Between that and trying to murder each other for planting dynamite it was interesting.

And you should fix teh sig. It has zero tact.

So do I. To bad most of them are gone.

But we'll have the server eventually. That'll be fun. A place for us to hang at 3am and frag frag frag.

And we'll be playing with alot of the newer people from here that weren't around for the good ol' days.

Hopefully we'll have Krayty. Do we know if he'll be playing with the JKii.net people or us more often?

He'd probably play with us if we asked, especially if by some incredible THING all of us are online at the same time.

Yeah. We can hope. You kind of need Kraty to play or it wouldn't feel right.

PB, what's AA's status? If he's still banned here would that apply to the server?

The server doesn't even exist in any sort of useable form, yet. I don't think it will, either. I won't run a rackmountable server, router, and switch unless i have a rack cabinet to put them in. That's about $600 away, unless I find a real beauty at some of the junk shops around here.

With some sign of improvement, I'd be willing to let Justin back here for an "under observation" run during the release of Jedi Outcast, so we can schedule games and the like. I'll be pretty busy the first two days, finishing up the reviews.

PB, can't you like, crash your car and collect the insurance? Do you really think you'll be going anywhere for awhile once the game is out?

I think that'll work out for Justin. He's not really interested in the boards other than game planning I don't think.

It's not like my server will be a necessity. That is if I can even host a server, since we all might have to use the Zone. [face_plain]

We're talking about LucasArts here. From what it looks like, they've signed some sort of soul-selling deal with Microsoft's Zone.

Kris Kross'll make ya JUMP JUMP!
    sorry.

It can't be zone only. Didn't they say there would be a standard ingame server brower thingy like all the other Q3 games?

    From the GamesDomain.com Developer's Chat:
serylcann: Will there be a Linux dedicated server? If so, when?
Graham Fuchs [Activision]: We are looking into it.

Yeah but that's just Linux. Of course it would be teh win to have, but peeps still run servers with Windows.

    WARM IT UP, KRIS!
