Those are quite amazing.

Odd question but how did you get the actual picture so large? The other ones I've found on his DeviantArt page are small in comparison.

That comes from a series of books by Sharon Shinn. It's an alternate world with many Earth-like names (like Jordania).

In case you're wondering, the third one from the bottom is referencing Blaine the Mono from Stephen King's The Dark Tower series. The rose in the right hand corner gives it away.

 

I have wanted to read it. But the few King books I have read were just way too long.

 

With Game Of Thrones all the rage I wondered what happened to Wild Cards, also a GRRM thingy. The next book is on it's way. A nice bit of work showing a character known as Golden Boy came up as new though it depicts and old moment. He is a 6'2" 190 pound super hero who has a force field and can lift 40 tons(pretty much top end level strength for Wild Cards). He was born decades ago but maintains his youth and fought in Veitnam. He betrayed his friends, he had a bad acting career, and is not respected as of the current time in the series. But here is a cool piece from his war time.

I know next to nothing about The Wheel Of Time, but decided to google a bit after seeing the entire run of books in a store today.

It does say DD Market. In this case it looks liek Forgotten Realms in the evil wizar dland of Thay. The bald lady is a Thayan Knight, that's a bugbear trying to sell her a sword of Thayan design(yes, I recognise a Thayan sword design.), that's a tiefling on the left, and a troll there in the middle.
