Al Williamson has always been my favorite Star Wars comic artist. His artwork has always captured that pulp sci-fi feel of Star Wars better than anyone out there. From looking at his work, you can see why George Lucas personally selected him to do the comic adaptations of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi:

I am on and off again with comics. Found out today that Hellblazer ended. Google Hellblazer and you get amazing images. The John Constantine film with Keanu Reeves was actually a decent watch but it was not Constatine. Angel Heart starring Mickey Rourke was probably the closest thing to Hellblazer put on film. If you have not seen it, you are missing out. If you intend to see it it is not safe for work or children.
Went looking for a particular Doomsday pic rummaging through comics. Didn't find it. I have not poured through my comics in a long time. A couple of my favorite pics ever come from Adam Warlock when he was put on trial for possession of the Infinity Gauntlet. And I hope this does not redX, I can't load it to photobucket and anything "blogspot" doesn't last.
i have created an art, after being inspired by all of the gorgeous pictures in this thread. it is titled "a stormy seascape" and basically my inspiration was "bob ross meets the illiad." i hope you enjoy viewing this art as much as i enjoyed creating it
Dangerous Artifacts, artist name Claudio Castellini. One of the best one shot comics ever. ^That is White Raven. It is her only appearance to my knowledge.
I wouldn't use this piece of junk as firewood. Hideous piece of art work. Terrible coloring, the cat looks mental, and hes wearing jeans. Im afraid of this picture actually. Thanks for the nightmares of cats in jeans and slippers.
I always kinda had a thing for Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez's DC comics superhero artwork, which shouldn't be surprising since he was the style-guide artist for them, and his artwork appeared on DC licensed merchandise in the 1980s, like the Kenner Super Powers toyline. (The part with the Phantom Zone villains from this piece appeared on a T-shirt I had when I was eight.)
I've read that Batman vs Hulk. There is one cool moment where Batman performs a sidekick to the solar plexus and knocks the breath out of the Hulk.

I agree GOAT and I'd like to add the following - For what it's worth, I enjoy this. Granted, I wouldn't go and hang it in my house anywhere, but i still like it. The way I see it, I don't find anything wrong with the coloring, the cat head is a metaphor for the inner predator aspect of man, and yes, he's wearing jeans... so what ? I find nothing nightmarish about this image, except if I saw myself as a fish, which I don't. ---- - Another Douglas Edwards -
