I'm out too. Soccer tournament is on and my son was my navigator. The Green Bay thing is on too and I think I will go spread the gospel of Star Wars to those in the frozen galaxy of Hoth otherwise known as Green Bay.

I think we're just going to have to plan on a different date.

Does anyone know definitively how long the IMAX run will last?

Is that the end of the IMAX run, or your suggestion for an alternate date to go see it?

As it turned out today would probably be the only day we could go see Imax AOTC. So we did. We stuffed ourselves in the Geo Metro and headed south to the Navy Pier Imax. The picture and sound were beautiful, and the seats were comfortable. The customer service and organization were awful. For starters the girl at the ticket booth had the personality of lint. Then we were let it to the theater for the 5:30 show at about 5:40. After the crowd got comfortable one of the employees grabbed the mic and started whining about what a bad day it was for them, and the reason we were let in so late was because the crowd before us had left their trash in the aisles and then had to be cleaned up. Isn't that part of their job?

Too bad more movies aren't shown in Imax theaters, it really was incredible on that giant screen.

My son and I saw AOTC at the Regal Imax in Lincolnshire. I recommend seeing it there. The theatre sits across from a strip mall with restaurants and a coffee shop. Kind of Brookfield Square looking. It was only about an one hour and 10 minutes from Cudahy. It's a must see for any Star Wars fan. I'll see it again but not any sooner than 11/24. If anyone wants to plan something I can drive.

Yeah, the Navy Pier IMAX people were woefully unprepared for an event like this. I think every showing started late; certainly the most popular ones did.

Lincolnshire is apparently a smaller screen, but it scores points on convenience for you Milwookiees. It's closer, and parking is easier in the suburbs.

I don't have time right now to go into the details, but it seems that Linconshire is the best bet. Steve and I went to the Cinemark in Woodridge, and they had no clue what they were doing...I'll give you the gory details when I have more time.

Did anyone get a copy of Bantha Tracks when they went to the IMAX? The lame theater we went to told us they were all out...

Can we organize another trip for the majority of us who weren't able to make it for the 9th?

Ah, you must have read my mind, SSDD. Saturdays or Sunday matinees work best for me. I would probably even be able to make a Friday show, assuming there is no more manditory overtime before Christmas.
