Wash, DC IMAX - Nov. 23rd. Be there or else!

I figured I would start a new thread for this since people might not be reading the other IMAX thread anymore...

Some of us are planning to see AOTC at the IMAX theatre on Saturday, November 23 at 4pm. Members of the MDFF will also be in attendance, and we hope to get a good-sized crowd!

Hahaha! I didn't even see Mutt's post about that on MD board until now!

 

Is there a 4 showing? When I called last friday about showtimes, the recording said only the 2nd has a 4 showing, every other saturday will be 6 and 8:15.

 

I will be there no matter the time.Are we comming in costume?

 

Ack! Perhaps there isn't a 4pm. There was so much confusion about the times last weekend that we aren't sure if the museum even knows what the right times are!

Ok, if no 4pm then the 6pm it will be.

Costumes optional. I do not have one, but everyone is welcome to go all out! And this time pictures will be taken!

 

I'll be at my brothers wedding. Technically, it will be the day after but I will still be in Lurray, Virginia where I am not sure they have "talkies" yet.

So I must face the dreaded "or else"

 

I will be there in costume.I love wearing my costume.I may have to get another one . Just lets make sure we are all going to the same show.

Anyway, I'll be there on the 23rd in costume. We're definitely shooting for the 6:00pm show, right?

 

I think a friend will be coming with me, so there's another person.

 

VK - Yes, 6pm. Are you going as Jedi Luke again or something else? I'm bummed that I missed out before; JL is one of my favorites.

As for the 'or else...' uh... I dunno. I'd use Jar Jar as a weapon somehow, but Mitt likes Jar Jar!

I go for a new job interview on tuesday, it all depends on if we work on saturdays or not. Hopefully i get it, its for a carpenters helper postion. it should be more money at least.

By the way. How early did you guys want to meet up? Should we plan on getting tickets that day, or should we purchase in advance. I plan on seeing AOTC on the 16th, so I can pick up tickets for the 6pm show on the 23rd for anyone who might want them. Just let me know...

I think getting the tickets early would be a good idea. i was going to go down this week but if you are going to pick them up i will pay you back. I was going to pick up SB's ticket also. It would be nice if we can meet early so we can go in as a group. I think we need a few minutes just to get a group picture too. It was pretty chaotic the last time we were there and we all were pretty separated.What about meeting around fivish?

 

I thought we were going to try for the 20-person group rate?
