I have developed the film from AOTC IMAX trip and am trying to figure out a way to post them online so everyone can take a look. YEAH!!! Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.... I had a wonderful time and think the trip was a good experience all around. Sabrann
I have seen them and they are great! I think we may have found our "official photgrapher." The question regarding where to post them is a good one. We will need to come up with some web space and some web-savvy folks to design and help maintain a website. Think about it. It will be on the agenda for the next meeting. Great pics S.
I maintain two Geocities websites, and I am very adept at creating them. Geocities provides free web hosting but you have to put up with annoying little pop-up ads on each page. They also offer Premium sites, with more bandwidth and no pop-ups, but for a monthly fee. Anyway, feel free to check out my website to see what I'm capable of. Keep in mind that it's very basic (with MIDI music!). I also have a digital camera and Adobe Photoshop, and can easily create and manipulate graphics (as evidenced by my Star Wars NewsRadio wallpaper). -Dale http://www.geocities.com/vickiscape
The Hothlanta Rebels use One2Host.com as our web host. We pay about $48.00 per year for hosting. I registered our domain name with GoDaddy.com for $8.95 a year. For the bandwidth and features we receive, it is quite a deal. The company is located in the UK, but their servers are in California, I believe. I just thought I would share that with y'all, just in case your group was willing to pitch in the money to pay for hosting. It is good to look at all the possible options.
You're welcome. Oh, if you go to HothlantaRebels.com and then click on the IMAX pictures link, which should be easily seen on the main page, you will see all of our pictures from the event. The Macon group picture is there, as well, although you may have to look for it a bit.
No one got my picture. . . Ancient Native Americans believed that the taking of pictures would steal the soul. (an old Iroquois proverb I just made up) I don't have much soul to steal to begin with.
