Paul that's terrible with the tickets! Are you sure you can't trade them in? Or maybe you can sell them to some people going into the 12:00 show?

So to make it official: Sunday, March 23 4:30 show, meeting at 2:00 at my place for a "meet and greet" I'll by buying some junk food, if anyone wants to contribute or needs directions to my place, let me know. I was thinking to have some games as well, just in case we have time to play them, so if it's easy for you to bring a couple along then that would be cool. Can also get pizza or something (play by ear). Regarding the costumes, a lot of YJN is getting dressed up just for fun, I plan to as well, and I hope those with costumes are with me!

I got tickets early because I have coming from out of town and did not want to be left out. Also i didn't check the board Wednesday night because I got in late. I look on the tickets it does say no exchanges or refunds. I might try tommorrow night.

 

Peter can't come to the 4:30 show, but I'll try to get him to come to the gathering. I think Johnathon, Peter's little brother will be coming with me though. And if I get my costume done in time, I'll wear it if others are dressing up.

 

How are we getting from Deb's to Imax?
If bus, we should leave by 3, so not long there anyhow.
Or will people have cars?
My dad is coming for the weekend, I'm trying to get him to come to the movie, he's a huge SW fan.

Re: getting to the IMAX, I was hoping that we'd have enough vehicles to get everyone there in cars. At the very least, YJN is covered for that, in their own cars, maybe someone will have some extra room. If not, we'd have to cab or bus it.

If you can't exchange your ticket I might have a solution. My brother is having his birthday party tomorrow and is going to the IMAX at 12. If I can somehow buy your ticket today or tomorrow morning, you could buy a new one. Email or post if this will work.

Oh, and I'll probably also need a ride to the IMAX.

Like I said before, I can drive too. Peter and his brother aren't coming now, they are going to the noon movie because one of them can't make it to the afternoon movie.

Also, has anyone looked into group passes?

 

I knew someone had asked that, but I didn't remember who did!
I did look into the group passes...what they do is take $2 off for every person in the group. BUT:
(1) The group must have at least 20 people
(2) One person has to pay for all the tickets all at once.

At this point I know we're very near 20, but I don't know if we are actually there. When I talked to the theatre people they said that it wouldn't be a problem doing the group thing at the last minute, but we should be there by 4:00 (so 1/2 hr. early). Whether we can do it or not depends on how many people we're at. Hopefully we'll get at least the magic number, but we won't know until tomorrow!

Oh ya, also can people let me know if they are bringing something, foodwise? No pressure if you don't have time to get something, I just need to know if I need to make a run to Beckers before everyone gets here.

I have fizzy lemonade, and I'm going to bake tomorrow morning (probably brownies or a cake and some chocolate chip cookies), I think I've also got a little popcorn here. Paul and Justin said they'd bring something (chips/drinks) but more chips/drinks would be cool! Thankfully there's a Beckers close by so if we need anything else when everyone's here, there will be a place to go!

So I might be a bit late, but will be there...yay. Wish I had a costume.

 

Update: Looks like you have 8 coming from our group. They will probably not be dressing up, since only 1 really was going to and didn't want to dress up alone. But they plan on bringing their Clone helmets!!! They are driving in 2 vans and will be able to take some others to the theatre.

hmmm, if I went now, I could get the ingredients to make my jello.... I thought of it last night, but I didn't want to go to Mac's to get the ingredients, too expensive. Hopefully it will set in 4 hours....
