Wash, DC IMAX?

Has anyone heard anything about Ep 2 being on IMAX somewhere vaguely near DC?

 

Hello, I have been working on the issue, They want atleast 500 people before they will even think about doing it

 

500 people? Then I think it's time to notify the 501st to get them involved and put up signs at game stores, video stores, schools, colleges, conventions, everything.

Phantom Menace played at the Air and Space Museum and it sold out. (I couldn't get tickets) They think the geeks won't go see it? Hardly.

TF.N listed the Hampton VA IMAX as playing AOTC. I don't know how far this is. ROAD TRIP????

 

Hampton is a few hours; Baltimore would be closer. But if Balt. isn't showing it, then this may be our only shot! I think we could all road trip to Hampton; could be fun!

 

Do NOT schedule it the weekend of Nov 8-10. Please! I really want to see it at IMAX.

Well if we play cards on the 9th, then the IMAX should be a different weekend anyway... We should try to see it opening weekend. I wonder how hard it will be to get tickets...

OK, I'm contacting them today about a group rate and getting our tickets. I need a count of how many want to go.

And how many will go in costume

 

I was going to suggest the group rate as well. Also, my parents are members of the Smithsonian, but I don't know if they get any discounts or benefits that might help us.

I'll go, and in costume. It depends, of course, on the day. I'll bring Ken, and (again, depending on the day) maybe a few friends from NY.

 

TK and I are there.

Not in costume though, don't have one. We will, however, be dressed festively for the occasion.

 

I just got off the phone with Miss Smith at IMAX. They don't have all the info yet of when it will be playing. She took my Name, number and email and as soon as they dso she will call me and I will keep you updated
