Now, for what it's worth, I will not miss Lauer. I felt he conducted awkward interviews. This has nothing to do with the matter at hand, but I recall him asking ludicrous questions. He asked Robert De Niro if he portrayed his character in Silver Linings Playbook as a villain. A villain? Crazy.

 

The Garrison Keeler one is odd, and I wonder if we'll hear the woman's side of it. He claims that it's one incident, wherein he put his hand on a woman's back and she happened to be wearing an open-backed shirt. He says he sent her an apology email and that it was totally unintentional.

Now, of course this could be a load of crap. But as someone who is from rural Minnesota and therefore grew up with PHC in my family, I would sort of like to hear the woman's side of things before I throw out nearly 50 years of a person's career and contributions.

I am not doubting there could have been more to it. I just think it's worth the public being told if there was more to it. Anonymity is totally fine... I'd just like to hear from MPR whether they found more than that in their investigations.
