IMDb Welcoming Page

The IMDB forums did have an optional e-mail notification system. But the confusion was that they offered too many different layouts (nest, flat, string, etc) and many people would seem to respond to the wrong person or not see that someone had responded to them.

It got to the point when 90% of the time I would log in just to make fun of stupid people.

The thing I find frustrating about IMDB as a site is the amount of mistakes in the Trivia sections. I've attempted to correct a ton of information on the M*A*S*H Trivia, and my corrections are never accepted.

I came to IMDb & jcf around the same time. Im boycotting IMDB until the boards return. Hopeless cause I know.

Okay. Should the thread be renamed to make the use of it as a welcoming mat be made more clear? I wouldn't guess that that's the purpose of it now based on the current title.
