SNG IMMOBILZATION! STAR WARS GRAND PARADE IN SINGAPORE

ATTENTION! ATTENTION!!
Dear FanForcers,

In cojunction to the coming SW Exhibition in Nov, the Science Centre in partnership with MovieMania, is organising a grand parade down Orchard Road on Nov 6th 3pm. We are targeting 50 costumed characters to march from Lido and will end at Orchard Library. There will be a Star Wars roadshow at Orchard Library on the same date, hence the end point. And there will be media coverage for this event, so it'll be the biggest SW event since the opening of Epi 3 in Singapore.

If you seen the activites in the States with their Star Wars marches and such, well this is the closet thing we'll ever going to get. Hence, I cannot stress this enough, IF YOU ARE A STAR WARS FAN, YOU WANT IN ON THIS! =) The march will be led by the costumers from MovieMania and followed by FanForce and by a number of groups of fans. As to the costume requirement, we've decided to go easy on this one. We wanted every fan in Singapore to really enjoy this. Meaning ANY costume is fine, even if it is just a helmet and a blaster, guess what? THAT'S FINE TOO! And I've already seen you guys in costume during the Parade in May so I KNOW we can do this.

P.S. TIME IS RUNNING OUT. It's quite a logistical headache, so I need to know a.s.a.p.

sigh.... too bad I am stuck in a serious client project stretching from October right to late November and cannot do this. Otherwise I would have carried my EL custom saber, with full Jedi robes, and march with you guys....

Seems like you guys are ALL using FX sabers? Hmmm.... I might be the only one with custom EL sabers. I like them better because you can pretend to duel with them without spoiling the expensive LED arrays of the FX range. Just my humble opinion.

I am hoping to retrofit a sound module into my EL sabers eventually. Meanwhile, you guys have fun! Old men like me cannot "tahan" too much sweat and sun and come out still breathing without heatstroke. Haha....
