Beat me over the head until I remember to get you my tutorials on the Jedi tunics. They're all written but could use a few more pics.

If I remember I'll take pics as I put together my pilot costume so you can have a rebel tutorial.

I was thinking about making a new IO thread a few days ago, but I didn't know how far back the last one was and didn't wanna get griped at, but since this one's here...anyone wanna talk costuming & props?

Helmets, and force-pikes, and gowns, and, headresses, and boots, and cloaks, and belts, and lightsabers, and hilts, and blades, and masks, and full-body suits, and vehicle make-overs, and communicators, and detonators, and demolition packs, and blasters, and armour, and backpacks, and camo gear, and claws, and fleshy tails, and gnarly teeth, and fake eyes, and motorized mouths, and LED panels, and voice-boxes, and...and....and..........FLOL!

 

and hats.

 

Okay, here's what I got for my newest project:

REBEL COMMANDO GEAR

Khaki Fatigue Pants (BDU's)
White Mock Turtleneck (long sleeve)
Khaki Zip-Up Sweatshirt
Web Gear Harness
Boots (Hiking or Combat)
Blaster (Ask me about KB Toys)
Miscellaneous Accoutrements (Army Surplus)

That is your basic costume, we will need to get everyone together to dye everything once we're ready. Also I am working on a pattern for cutting down and sewing the sweatshirt.

HELMET

Cloth Part - Almost done, and with a little help from Doc, we'll have the ear pieces licked as well.

Bedpan - Need to get with Doc to set up a time to get together and knock these bad boys out. I was hoping to have at least one of these done by StarFest, but finances will have to determine the outcome on that one.

TROOP ASSIGNMENTS

Demolitions/Engineer - Me
Reconaissance - Sarah
Communications - Mac
General Hair Solo - Jeff??
Princess Tough Cookie - Kim???
Sniper - Terry

Heavy Weapons - Zac

Anyone else want on board with this? We could use a point person, another engineer/demo person, etc.

 

Could we change my postition to Navigation/Intelligence? I would think that I would get all the information about what's up ahead and know the area aswell as the goings on...

Currently I am working on an Exar Kun costume for a friend. I was wondering if anybody wanted to do the robotic arm? He has a huge budget... so this could be really fun

 

Exar Kun didn't have a robotic arm that I remember.........Cay Qel-Droma did.

 

How's that for a change?

 

I'll do the sniper, since I've got a idea for a cool weapon. Just as soon as I get a little more spare cash.

I'm also working on a mold for the base piece to the X-wing chest box. If it comes out well and someone else wants one let me know.

 

will the packs be easy to modify? i want to rig mine so that i can get a big antenna on it.

and i went and found my pants, but they are a little costly for my pocket at the moment. later in the month i will get them.

 

How much were they? I found some for $12-20 bucks online. IF you already know the size, you could just order them

Okay, I think we may have another Commando for the Squad, but we may have to shame him into it

 

point would be like a scout right? so he'd probably carry the fewest weapons and rely on stealth & h2h?

or do you mean like pointman as in leader?

Either way, I'll do it.

I'd volunteer for the heavy arms if someone else wanted point, but I dunno where I'd get the "heavy arms" from...I'm assuming that'd be like a big blaster carbine (like the chaingun type thing)?

Also would we be allowed to carry that in even if we could get ahold of something like that? hehe.

anyway, consider me your point man until I'm dead or you find someone better.

 

Heavy weapons would be something equivilant to a SAW or M-60.

as for ear pieces what about the ear pieces from wresters' headgear? just a thought.
