importing 3DS or MAX???

    im new and on scifi3d.com when you download a MAX or 3DS file what programs can you import them in?? 3d max studio any version???

    3ds can be imported into most applications, the only problem is that once you do, it's almost never right, it will have most parts all in the wrong places and the textures will be screwed up. If you have Max then you can import them and they will be right, not like the other programs, but if you have Max then I would download the Max file and not the 3ds file. It will be more acurate and the textures will be right.
