Almost looks like Garindan-type alien is riding the crab machines. They have little elephant trunks on their faces.

DId anyone else catch the imperial insignia on the ships in the space battle? The shot of the two ships passing...reminded me of two pirate ships passing in the water, blowing each other into obivion with their cannons!

Well, I LOVED it.

I'm oozing with joy, anticipation, excitement, astonishment, and awe.

The thing that surprised me the most were the Wookiees. Their army looked much fuller and badass than I expected it to be.

Are most of them digital? I honestly couldn't tell.

 

They look like Geonosians to me...that or they are those short, gray aliens that Obi-Wan meets.

 

Made the Yellow Eyes pic my wallpaper on my phone already!

 

Yeah, just noticed teh guys riding the crabs. They're also holding some kind of spears...

 

Exchanging broadsides.... its the CIS symbol on the bottom ship.

 

Yeah Sate Pestage, I think that maybe has to do with the fact that John Williams has not even begun to score the film yet. So, I'm willing to let it slide.

 

what is red that is reflecting on C3PO on the Tantive?

 

The ships exchanging broadsides reminds me of the ships exchanging broadsides during the Battle of Endor.

Obi-Wan definitely has both his and Anakin's lightsabers in his hands.

Tion's teeth did scare me a little bit, I was not expecting that. Some of the clips do look a bit to CG but it is still awesome!

 

What an awesome trailer. I didn't think GL had the balls to give Anakin red eyes. I was wrong. I really hope they keep this in the final movie cause that would be great. Anyone else feel like this is a different director behind this movie? It has a totally different feel to it the the other movies in the PT. (well, so far at least)

Maybe Anakin has those yellow eyes in some dream sequence? Just a thought.

This is also going to sound selfish and fanboyish...but, I am stuck at work, and would be much obliged if someone would kindly pm me with a link to dl the trailer.

 

Speaking of weak poses (like Yoda's), I think Mace Windu, or maybe I should say Samuel L. Jackson, strikes a very weak pose. Bringing your saber over your head like that, real slow-like, exposing your body? Weak. No true swordsperson would do that.

 

I gotta say, those two clips of that Choke are insane!

1. ObiWan starts being choked when he is standing up.
2...Then he is on the ground on the second one, slowly moving down.

How long is this choke?!

 

Things I noticed......

A patch of red near Yoda, an emperor's guard maybe?

Mace lifting his saber above his head, I think he goes out like Obi Wan in ANH

The army of wookies looked great

Artoo looked damaged (after further review it seems as if he's holding something, not damaged)

Sidiouis looked scary as hell, I think it's connected with the scene of Mace lifting his saber above his head

Vader/Anakin choking Obi Wan was great too

 

Im wondering...with the absolutely wicked shot of Sid/Palp, are we witnessing his "transformation" into his real appearance? He definitely appears gnarled...but almost as if he isnt "quiate as gnarled" as he could be...

This is either "in the midst of the reveal" or just after in my opinion.

Thats just a creepy, creepy image.

Still cant get over those yellow eyes on Vader. Absolutely awesome.

And yes...I think the "sound" problems are due to the fact that JW has not recorded anything yet, and the sound guys wanted to get this out for the fans.



I give it an A- (minus due to the sound)

Um...Import_Jedi, why would Anakin have Darth Maul's eyes? He doesn't have the yellow eyes in THE DUEL Scenes, Explain that. No, I don't think that Anakin will have the yellow Darth Maul eyes in the actual movie.

Edit: I'm sure that this is just symbolism, used in the Trailer. The Scene with Anakin having yellow eyes, is part of the Montage, with Obi-Wan's voice over. In my opinion of course

Anyone notice that Obiwan has Anakin's saber in his right hand at 1:28, but has his ANH saber in his right hand at 1:29. Think this is a continuity flaw or two separate scenes?
