Oh, no! The cat fight was a setup. Argh!

I knew it, Leia's pregnant, and she's not going to tell him right away, more reason for distrust. Oh... I'm so nervous.

He hadn?t married her for love She doesn't know how wrong she is on that one!

I loved Leia's introspection on the pregnancy. Yes, it's scary to think Han might really love her. It was interesting that she thought of the baby as a "he."

By the way, cute baby picture of you, LP! Nicely done.

::sighs and waits for the angst::

No one should get their hopes up. I am warning you now. Three years I have been reading this lady's stuff and EVERY SINGLE TIME she makes angst. We have not yet seen angst. We have seen unhappy!Han and grump-tastic!Leia. Angst brings with it injuries, deaths, LEAVING OF PEOPLE, injuries, separation for extended periods of time, etc. etc.

Just you wait. It will all go to pot from here and they won't get back together for four more sequels.

    A little Solo!

However, I fear it won't be long until something of equally, yet tragic, significant will happen.[face_worried]

What a cute picture! (I thought the baby looked Asian! :) )

Ah, well, since KnightedRogue still isn't around to say it, I will. Leia's amazing ability strikes again!

Seriously, though, I have a bad...wait. Something here makes me uneasy. :D

I like good angst as much as anyone, but since this is billed as an AU, I'm going to go against common thought, and hope that Leia doesn't lose her baby in the inevitable upcoming angst. If she loses it, I will be disappointed because it is a plotline that is too often used simply to add easy angst to a story: unexpected conception conveniently eliminated by accident when no longer needed. That said, your writing is still wonderful!

LP, you've done it before, and it wasn't pretty, or fun. Believe me, losing a baby is no fun....

So I wonder how long you are going to draw out the suspense of the reader knowing that Leia is pregnant and Han does not?

    SQUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUEEEEEEE!!!!!!!
+Ahem+ Now that that's out of the way.

Oh Leia, you always manage to get preggers at such inappropriate times, don't you??
I have a feeling she and Han will happily reconcile, only to be blown apart when Zara decides to tell everyone that Han got her pregnant as well, or some such nonsense.

I have a bad feeling about this.

Loving this story LP, [face_love] I'm in the 'please keep the baby' camp too, guess I'm just a big softie. I suspect Zara to be the spy, although it could be the king's daughter, oh the suspense...

    :: pants::

    I've caught up!

. . . It's either the King, Ruaiti or Zara...

really... there is also something up with the datapad given to Han... I'm almost worried about him having it in his posession at all...

Oooh, that's a new thought, the King? Hmmm.... don't know about that, you think it would be a total set up for the Alliance? Not sure what that would accomplish.

However, whoever it is wants new ideas, perhaps about the role females play in society. So it is conceivable the spy is a female. The problem with that is that the Empire doesn't exactly have equal rights for females either.

Well he did do that whole personality change thing when they got onto the ship, and who keeps taking Han away, thereby unbalancing Leia. . .

if you go with the idea that the King is involved, then Rualti would be with him. Zara would possibly be with the alliance herself and have an idea that Han and Leia are with the alliance. Note how she gave that information disk to Han. . and would be another reason why she was so upset with Rualti going through her room.. .

Conversely. . . Zara could be the spy.. . but the more I think about it, she's the more obvious choice. Seeing as she's been built up as the one for us all to hate.. . and well. . . I don't see LP as going for the obvious.. . Along those lines however, I still have an odd feeling that that datacard is bad news especially if it's found on Han. and possibly is most certainly what Rualti was looking for not only in her search of Zara's room but when she knocked over that pile in the cockpit. . .
