We're wildcats, the phrase "bear down" is in the fight song because some guy told the football team to bear down right before he died in like the 1920s. But hey, at least wildcats and even bears are actual things. Even after two siblings going to NMSU and one more about to do so, I still have no idea what the hell an Aggie is supposed to be.

 

I took a few classes when I was in prison.then I finished when I was released.

Anyway, not yet on the costumes. Mandy and I are planning to make some generic Jedi cloaks over Spring Break.

 

Sorry only lobos are allowed to be Jedi's, it's the whole wise and knowledge thing? you can be a padawan though!

 

All kidding aside, we would love to have some more jedi's. we are low on the mos alba count.

 

how many other people are Jedi? I know that a lot of mos alba likes their armor...

 

I think we've got three jedi: Lor, obi-dave-kenobi, and Jedi_Mexx. Both David and Roman are part of the Jedi Assembly, IIRC, and Lor is member of the RL. I know several others are working on jedi costumes.

Oh yeah, Wook's got a Barriss Offee costume. So that's 4. We also have some dark-side jedi (alyson) and Matt has a Darth Maul costume.

Actually, I know there's more. I'll start one probably after C3.

Well, if anyone has any good ideas on where we could get information on how to make Jedi costumes, we'd love the info.

If we're talking age and schools here, Bloodclaw, let's keep in mind that NMSU was the first Land Grant University in New Mexico. (And it stemmed from three other schools that existed previously.)

I have a simplicity pattern that I was going to make an outfit from and still haven't got around to it. It's not exactly for a jedi outfit but with a few minor alterations, it should do fine. I will get the pattern # and PM you Jaina.
JediMexx's and my outfit were actually a gift from our uncle, he is an awesome Jedi outfit maker so we are both very lucky that he thought of us.

 

Yea I have to admit...that David and my Jedi costumes are the best I have seen. Uncle Rob did an awesome job on them and pics do not do them justice...Let's see I am part of the Jedi Assembly, Rebel Legion, and 501st. Let us know if you will be at the next meeting and we can bring in the Jedi garb (robe, tunic, boots, lightsaber hilt, and utility belt).
