Today I learned the most photogenic building around also happens to be the Department of Homeland Security building.

Edit: Two page tops in a row! My life has peaked.

You're in the middle. Is the default 25 posts per page? I have 50 posts per page, and I don't recall if it's always been that way or if I changed it to that at some point.

25 is default. Awesome people changed their setting to 50 per page ages ago and never looked back.

In fact, awesome people don't care what their page settings are because they have more going on in their lives ;)

It was. Until the man in the black car with sunglasses pulled out a badge and said "I'm with the Department of Homeland Security."

It's mostly cool because of it's location, if my calculations are correct, it's the tallest building in the Chicago area outside of the city itself, so it just looks like a random skyscraper. Not entirely unlike your mom.

Naturally. I can also see why you seemed suspicious; clearly you had intentions of virtually destroying the premises!

Does that building look crooked to anyone else?

Also, it's a facility for the federal government. So, there's that.

Ah-ha! A weakness! A veritable thermal exhaust port!

    ...

I noticed that as I was shooting it too. No idea.

Comped. I didn't mention this is a screencap. You can also see a light post that disappears into nothing center frame in the parking lot.

While those first points are nice, I don't quite like that last bit. Its not a huge deal, he's right, but still we could've gone without it.

EDIT: after thinking about it for a second, I realized that last move was also probably due in part to its re-release in February...

Every time they re-release these movies I get nervous that they're going to do two steps forward, one step back. Like those painfully obvious lightsaber problems with the last DVDs.

I'm not asking much, George. I supported you on all sort of things a lot of fans complain about. I never said one word against Greedo shooting first. Just please don't send these discs out without checking for problems that could be fixed in After Effects in two minutes.

    Rick McCallum loves you!

I like the sound of that. I doubt the timing is a complete shift to bring out the natural colors like Adywan's take on it, but if the lightsabers look better (especially the saberlock over Palpatine's face), then that excites me.

Still hesitant to pick this up, though. Even with all the new extras, something about this feels incomplete. Plus, I hate the boxart.

I'm so used to the original puppet, but I can't say it will be missed.
