SWRPF Archive In The Wake Of The Nine

The Story

Many thousands of years have passed since the Yuuzhan Vong invasion and the collapse of the New Republic. The galaxy was in chaos until another Republic was created again. After its creation a state of peace resided over tha galaxy. The only problems were occasional pirates, bounty hunters, and smugglers. Though day-by-day the Chief of State, a Twi'lek named Lord Dio, gained power. Soon the Republic couldn't do anything and the outcome was expected. He became the Emperor. Lord Dio was protected by a council of Dark Jedi and a very loyal army, so attacking was out of the picutre.

The Jedi Order's numbers were dwindling and they could do nothing in their Temple on Ossus. They called a council together, which didn't consist of only Jedi. Many non-Jedi were there. High members in the Republic, concerned leaders, renown warriors; they were all present. The Jedi Council decided to choose nine members that were present that day. They would rally forces around the galaxy and create an army capable of destroying Lord Dio's.

The Rules

1. Read the entire post!
2. Send requests for things via PM.
3. No God Moding. Violators will be shot, maimed, tortured, and humiliated before they die.
4. No using OOC Knowledge, In Character. First time violators will be warned, second time violators will have something not so nice happen to their character, and third time violators will be killed.
5. Keep OOC chatting to a minimum. All arguments and disagreements should be conducted over PM. Violators will find themselves in sticky situations.
6. Questions for the GM should be asked over PM once the game has started.
7. Be courteous to your fellow players and follow the TOS. Violators will be reported to the Moddess and most likely Baned (no that is not a typo).
8. Serious players only. If you think you cannot stick to the game, do not join. If you need to drop out, don?t just up and leave without letting me know.
9. Only one character per person. NPCs can be made but only two NPCs at a time.

---Personal History: Apparently, the ancestor of both Jango Fett and Canderous Ordo, Morpheus was feared by many just from his surname. The combination of both Mandalorians into the package of one man such as Morpheus, made him a skilled warrior indeed. It was however a shame that his talents were wasted by working with hutt crimelords and other scum. Other details of Fett-Ordo are still unknown, but he is currently roaming the Core Worlds near Corellia.

---Personal History: Meleek Raja was born on the calm planet of Yelsain to a respected Echani Master and a very smart professor at a college on the planet. Meleek was always patient when he was a boy, though when provoked far enough he would become deadly. His father saw great potential in his son and tried to get a Jedi to train him. Unfortunatley, Meleek was not force-sensitive so his father chose to train him in the arts of the Echani. The lore and history of the Echani piqued Meleek's interest greatly and he soon excelled in them. After mastering the art he traveled to Ossus where the New Republic was based. There was no Senator of Yelsain and it was very convienent that Meleek was there at the time so he applied and was accepted. His political experiance was very small, but after lessons he became a decent Senator.

Meleek was now a double-threat, physically and politcally. The to-be Emperor, Lord Dio, wanted Meleek to "retire", so he sent only the best to do it. A Mandalorian who's name is not known attacked Meleek without prior knowledge to Meleek's fighting experiance. It didn't take long for Meleek to kill the bounty hunter. After this incident he seeked counsoling at the Jedi Temple. He recieved the therapy and the Jedi Council notified him of the meeting they would have. Meleek is one of the few that has been put on the crew that will go and rally forces to destroy the Emperor's.

---Personal History: Garik was the son of wealthy parents in the Tabaana Gas industry, but his parents died in a tragic accident. With no family left, the only place Garik had left to go was the new Rebellion against Lord Dio. There, Garik found he had remarkable talent in a starfighter, as well as a marksman. He rose quickly through the ranks, eventually commanding an elite X-Wing squadron called Defender Squadron.

Traits: Always stands up for what he believes to be right or for the greater good, even if it means making difficult choices or there is a danger that his life could be at risk.
Likes: Gideon is fascinated by the martial arts and devotes a lot of his time to learning different forms and techniques of many combat styles.
Dislikes: Any man who cannot stick to his confessed morals, or cannot decide where his allegiances lie. Anyone who turns their back on their associates merely for personal gain. In a nutshell, a greedy person!
Habits: When he is agitated Go-Chii always twists a ring on his right hand, apparently it helps to calm him down.

Other details: Caught up in a fire during his youth from which he was lucky to escape with his life his face was burnt beyond recognition and now, years on it is still a hideous site to look upon. Hence the mask. Only one person has sen the face behind the mask: his mother.

Interior description: The only modification to the ship from its departure of the shipyard is a miniature holocron of Gideons parents smiling, standing against the awesome backdrop of the Jiiromen Falls. It activates when the ships main systems are turned on.

Biography: The Go-Chii family ran an extremely successful business as cloth merchants and dressmakers, it made the biggest profit as a business in their region unil one disastrous day. A few weeks prior to this a man of great prestige among the Republic came to the Go-Chii's with the biggest request they had ever recieved. A huge amount of money would be made from this and the family had to pool all their resources to aquire the fabrics and materals needed to create a set of elegant garments for the staff of this great man. The night after the arrival of these materials a fire started in the warehouse and spread rapidly through the workshop and then to the house of the Go-Chii's. Merron, the father of the house was caught up trying to rescue the young Gideon and was agonisingly killed as the boy atched on helplessly. Through desperation the boy charged through the fire but was too late to help his father and beause of it his entire facial skin and chest were severely burnt. The scars still have not faded, physically and mentally, almost 2 years on!
With the loss of their stock and the special order they had paid so much for the Go-Chii family were impoverished and soon forgotten.
Gideons love of combat and action brought him to the Typha-Dor military were it quickly became apparent that he was a natural pilot, and when it came to hand to hand combat, he was an exceptional student and competed at a planetary level against many other contestants, often coming out on top. Unfortunately the lack of any family influence brought his flying career to a grinding halt and then Gideon realized that the universe was bigger than his world! He set off to gain back his famil

Before we all start to lose interest can we start this RP now? when others join later we can adapt the storyline a little. Or we could just write about our chars ongoings before they join together or something... any other ideas?
