Inactive notice ? you have 2 weeks?

Hi there guys. Unfortunately, there has not been anything going on with this board for a while. I'm sad to announce that I?m going to have to begin the process to move this board to inactive.

As such, I will move this board to inactive at the end of July and make it unable to receive replies. If anyone wishes to stop this, then you have two weeks to start posting again and try to get some life back into your group.

I hate to have to do this, but with no activity I don?t have a choice. Sorry everyone.

Well we sort of outgrew this little corner of the JC and started up our own board many years ago. It's a long convoluted story that spans over 5 years but basically several years ago many of us were made to feel less than welcome here.

I do find it odd that you would simply "turn off access" though. There certainly is no reason to do it other than some rule someone dreamed up when putting the JC together. It would seem to me that the best way to encourage participation may not be to shut down an entire city forum.

 

Well it's been two weeks so I guess this will be shut down soon. Not that big a deal but it did bring a lot of people together. I think there is still good in this site as it is the site a casual fan is likely to visit. Maybe it will bring other people together someday, at the very least it gave a sick child the opportunity to see Star Wars characters on his birthday.

 

Looks like we will have to go and invade the Madison site if we want to still play here. hehe(most evil grin)
