Which one of those books from the subject is better for learning of a ship's capabilities as well as it's interior. I'm leaning towards ICS.

Neither. I much prefer the EGtVaV over the ICS, but neither lives up to what you're asking.

The ICS are good for prominent movie stuff. But if you want EU stuff, or less important movie craft(like A-wings and B-wings) then look at the Essential Guide.

I have both, and I think that's the best way to go, really.

The incredible sections are visually commendable, but with so few ships and vehicles in them per book, only you can decide how value for $$$ they are.

ICS are better.they show all of the ships interiors and give the power levels of all the weapons, they also explain past history alittle bit especially with the AOTC ICS.

Well I'm trying to find something on the Falcon's interior as well as the Death Star's.

Thanks TC. I knew it had something on the DS but I wasn't sure about the Falcon. Now the interior images of the Falcon, do they include an image of the corridors or just the engine systems and what not?

The ICS to Star Wars Anatomy!

Contrast Gands with lungs and Gands without!

Behold the incredible complexities of the Mon Cal eye!

Behold the full extent of Vader's injuries!

Behold the vast vacuum inside the skull of a Yuuzhan Vong!

Behold the Death-Star chasm sized stomach cavity of Jabba the Hutt!

    Behold the muppety-innards of Yoda!

Shadow-Sith--the Falcon's drawing is pretty cool. It gives you a pretty good idea of where everything we saw in the movies goes, and a nice view of the engine system. Unfortunately, it doesn't give one a really good idea about the layout of the rest of the ship--that is, the stuff we don't see in the movies, like the escape pods, Han's quarters, the head, etc. If you're really interested in the nit-picky stuff like that, there was a recent Dungeon magazine article with a set of Falcon blueprints that you'll want to track down in addition to the ICS book. It was particularly well received in the fan community because it resolved the discrepancies between the earlier Falcon blueprints and the ICS depiction. I know Valiento has a copy of the magazine, so he should be able to tell you which issue in particular it was.

The Death Star illustration is spectacular--you'd have to see it; I can't really describe how awesome it is.

    LOL, Senator. :)

Is it the same image as the DS cutaway that appears on Behind the Magic?

Hmmm. Meant that as a joke, but that might actually be cool, wouldn't it? Doubt it'd have enough wide appeal to be made, though.

Knight, the Death Star illustration in ICS was created for the book; I don't know if it appeared in Behind the Magic.

As for scanning it--wouldn't really work. It's a *huge* fold-out section.
