Indiana Jones 4 Script Completed.

www.comingsoon.net and Variety is reporting that Frank Darabont has completed the screenplay for Indy 4.

In a Variety article talking about Frank Darabont's Darkwoods Productions company signing a three-year first-look production deal with Paramount, he mentions that he has completed the script for the long-awaited Indiana Jones 4. The sequel may shoot this year with Harrison Ford starring, Steven Spielberg directing and George Lucas executive producing. Paramount is hoping to distribute the film in 2005. "I've finished my work, so now it's in the hands of God, or Spielberg and Lucas if you prefer," said Darabont.

Nice to hear that it's finished, I assume this means that Spielberg, Lucas and Ford has seen it and decided that it's finished, or does it just mean that Darabont thinks he's finished?

 

Good question.

I'll say this, they couldn't get a better writer
than Darabont. His involvement bodes well for
Indy IV.

It only means Darabont finsihed his draft. It still has to go to the 3 principals for final approval.
