I am hoping to see Indiana Jones movie like Secret in their eyes, the Argentinian movie. That movies is about a detective retired from service. But one case still haunts him. The movie flashes back and forward as he tries to solve it.

I was thinking we could Indy retired from teaching, writing a book. Mutt is off "doing his own thing" while Marion is visiting friends. [do not want them in the movie]. An old friend of Indy's met him after many years. He has not aged since they met all those years ago. He tells him he found the fountain of youth [or something similar to that] and offers it to Indy. We then flash back [with a new actor playing Indy] and see Indiana find the fountain but lose it to the Soviets. Him and his friend try to get it back but fail. Indy returns to America but his friend pledges to recover the fountain. Flash forward to Harrison Ford asking him where the fountain is. He takes him there and offers it to him. After that I leave it open to the people to write it

I was thinking something like this could work, in order to pass the torch down to a younger actor portraying Indiana Jones.

In 1967, Indiana Jones gets called in to help the Americans find the first copy of the ancient Japanese scroll known as Nihongi, before the Russians do. Legend says that the Nihongi allows the reader to speak to yourself through time, and the Russians plans to speak through time and change the outcome of World War 2, destroying both Germany and USA so that Soviet may emerge as the only true world superpower.
Of course, during the course of the film, Indiana will speak to his younger 1930's/1940's self through the scrolls, allowing us to get a first look at the new actor. Then, latter films involving the new actor could take place in our favorite 1930's era in-between the first films.
