I'm looking around this thread and see tons of IJ4 spoiler threads...I'm a spoiler-free man myself, so I'd like to start the official IJ4 Spoiler-Free thread (mods, if there is one, just erase this).

    Who's with me?!

Well, the majority of the IJ4 threads are pure speculation, with only 2 marked as "spoilers".

But starting this thread afresh is a fine idea. So feel free to have your IJ4 speculation & non-spoiled discussion here!

    :)

Yeah most of the hard stuff is a few snippets on who is working on it like Spielberg and Darabont. There is no real plot info only rampant speculation.

Well, this thread is from hence forth dedicated to only official releases (with some censorship if too much info) and speculation. :)

I'd like to build a community, so let's all become familiars.

LOL, well as I said I'm old enough to have seen all 3 at the theatres.

I must agree, Indy fans are Indy fans no matter what. On the other hand the problem is with the attitude with a lot of the public today. Most stuff pre-90s and definately all pre-80s is discounted as old, boring and lame for no reason. There is no appreciation for older movies and there is a lot of fast food mentality in movie going, see it now, get a quick fix and almost forget it as soon as done. And a lot of content is fluff too anyways. It's bad when some "action" movies nowadays are big hit but utterly empty as opposed to the great directing in the Indy films. And then there is almost no recollection foreven older adventure films, like the Robin Hood ones, or a good pirate movie. Ahh well...

When is this expecting to begin shooting, and when is the trailer and film planning to be released?

Release date is set for July 1st, 2005. Shooting should begin Spring or early Summer of 2004. Spielberg is set to direct Terminal, with Tom Hanks, this Fall. Trailer, I wouldn't expect it earlier than Thanksgiving 2004, though some films have been known to start campaigns a year or more in advance.
