Crystal Skull prototype set pictures have been leaked. Final versions are usually a lot more polished and with more finesse.

    Minor spoilers I guess...

Very cool. Love the amphibious vehicle and the buzzsaw truck.

Today I bought the Motorcycle chase Indy set (7620). It's a little gem. The bikes are just brilliant. Not really Lego, as (excluding the wheels) they're just two pieces that snap together. Henry and Indy look great, particularly Henry. The detailing on the figures is really high; puts me in mind of the Boba Fett figure from the Cloud City set. The barrier doesn't stay level - it's too heavy and flops a little, but that's only a minor quibble.

I'm not sure I want any of the bigger Indy sets, but this is a great little bit cool. It's just a joy to see Indy and his father in Lego. Highly recommended

Pity it's a sticker, but cute hieroglyphics!

I found all four sets today at Toys-R-Us and I was going to get the motorcycle set but I would have had to wait in line 30 to 40 minutes and I didn't want to wait that long to simply spend eleven dollars.

Okay, that Marion with reversible head cracked me up. That's a neat little feature.

I haven't been into the whole Lego thing for a while now and I was just gonna pass on these sets, but after hearing some reactions, I'm beginning to change my mind. Maybe I'll check them out the next time I go shopping and see what happens. If anything, I'll probably pick up the motorcycle set at the very least.

    Wow! Nice find!

The last set depicting the temple really has some interesting stuff. I'm especially curious about the way the top of the temple appears to open up - is this an early confirmation about the rumored alien ship? The figurines also depict some interesting characters. The two reddish guys wielding the axes raise some questions as do all those skeletons.

Possibly. Other have suggested that it could be something the Russians build to harness the power of the Crystal Skull and beam it up to Sputnik. I for one would think that's pretty cool and clever.

Hmm...nice point. I forgot that the whole Sputnik thing was mentioned until you brought it up. I think it's too early to tell what exactly that thing will be used for, but it appears that everyone is on the same line of thinking - it deals with the aliens.

Did you also see the speculation on the Jungle Duel set about Indy being attacked by giant ants? What are your thoughts on that?

The question is "Will Indy be fighting giant ants or did LEGO simply make them that size?" I lean toward the latter as the ants seem to be about the same size as LEGO's other bugs and snakes pieces. I think Indy will battle a swarm of regular size ants but that would have been impossible for LEGO to recreate so they simply made a handful of larger size ants instead.

However I could be wrong and the ants will be giant in the film. Who knows? I have no problem with them if they are.

Yea, those were my thoughts on it as well. I personally think it fits right in with the genre to have Indy tied to a post with flesh-eating ants crawling about him. I think ants are also a good compromise for the critters in this film as well. We had spiders, snakes, bugs and rats...why not ants?

I strode into my local TRU on Saturday determined to buy them, but none were in the store. :(

Now I have to convince myself to buy them all over again.

Nice site! Thanks for the link!

And I know what you mean about the Lego sets. The only place I was able to find them so far was the Toys R Us in Times Square. I wasn't about to fight the crowds to get over to the display so I'll just continue to look at the stores around here. Hopefully something will turn up.

New Videogame screenshots show how Toht and German Mechanic will look (if LEGO actually produces them in toy form).

In the Lego article it mentions the Indy game for the next gen consoles, does anybody know what's happening with it, any news because I haven't heard anything about it for a long time.

Ooo! Very cool! I didn't realize they were making a LEGO Indy game. If it's anything like the SW version, this is gonna be awesome. I'm hopelessly addicted to the Original Trilogy game at the moment. :p

LucasFilm have released no new info on it for well over a year. Smart money has it coming out with the new movie, but wouldn't surprise me if it falls back to the IJ4 DVD release given the silence from LucasArts.

I hope they make a set dipecting the fight at the airstrip between the shirtless german solider, and indy. A german fighter airplane ,the nearby shack/garage ,a cart with fuel barrels. Also rather than a natzi symbol the planes ID number on the backwing as a sticker (as it seems lego has completely ditched the idea of printed elements)includes Indiana jones, regular german mechanic, shirtless german mechanic,Marion, German pilot, and two regular German guards
