Ello,
Over the last months I have spoken with 7 actors from the Indy trilogy. Those people include Paul Weston, Kiran Shah, Barrie Holland, Wolf Kahler, Derek Lyons, John Rhys-Davies and Karen Allen.

All their memoires regarding the Indy movies are now combined in an 'Indy special' I have made for www.Studio64.nl.

One of the things that will be revealed is the question: what is Karen Allens opinion on playing in Indy 4?

Its interesting that Karen Allen says she hasn't been contacted to appear in Indy 4. Either those Marion rumors were just rumors or she's being secretive.

 

Or the interview was conducted before she signed on. If the rumors are true.

 

I spoke with Ms Allen 2 weeks ago: May 14.

 

Also recall that Shia said the same thing. No one has contacted me and whatnot.

 

That's true. Shia did an interview in Empire Magazine after he got the role basically talking about how it was hard to pretend it was just a rumour, and that he didn't want to jeapordise his part by telling everyone. Maybe that's the policy Spielberg et al are taking with everyone?
