Super hyped for this, I love the idea of taking "b-list" heroes and giving them their own playground that doesn't have the pressures of making a big-budget movie. It'll be great to see what the heads at Marvel will do with Daredevil, especially, to wash the taste of AffleckDevil out of everyone's mouths. Jessica Jones will be a much-needed presence in the MU, as well, especially if she's the first female hero with powers. I love the fact that NetFlix is becoming a legitimate alternative to both broadcast television and cable now, it has to give the writers and directors so much more freedom than to have all of the channels, advertizes and government watchdogs breathing down their necks. If this means we get three or four Star Wars shows after a similar fashion (X-wing? Agents of the Rebellion? Stormtrooper Academy? Underworld?) a few years down the line, I'm all for it.

It annoys me when people act like the Eastern Roman Empire has nothing to do with the Roman Empire. What, the heirs of Augustus and Constantine enthroned in New Rome aren't good enough for you?
Also, one day Constantine XI will return to life, reconquer Constantinople from the Turks, and reestablish the Roman Empire. I am ready.

Just had a good laugh when I was out to pick up my new PC monitor, because two kids in front of me were arguing with the store clerk why they wanted to trade in their copies of Call of Duty Ghosts for AC 4. Their argument “that game just looks a lot more fun”.

Well, erraro humanum est.

Edit: Well, I shouldn't joke. I just spent an hour writing 160 words in Swedish, most of it went through Google Translate and then Google itself (so I could be certain that I used those words in proper context). Just two more weeks and I am through the obligatory course.
