Well, for not watching it you managed to hit the "length of the Executor" question for the series. :p

He was pruning his FB friends list down to people he recognized and in the comments played with the idea of dropping the twitter account (since it was more unwieldy than his FB one), then actually did it.

"I found myself getting dangerously close to having a "personal brand" and the idea just sickened me."

He's probably trying to avoid Sam Witwer.

I can respect that. Almost explains why he was getting increasingly nonchalant with his responses on his Twitter account.

Honestly, if I had his job, knowing how difficult SW fans can get, I would too. ;)

I like Pablo, I really do, but some of his recent pronouncements were the proverbial poking the bear with the stick.

I can't help but feel that the comic movie bubble is going to burst or something. Like western films in the 80s.

I could not be less of a GotG comic fan and I think that looks awesome.

Oh I just mean with Marvel saturating the market with these films I don't think it's sustainable. But I'm just a negative nancy.

This looks less like a Marvel film and more like a second Firefly movie. With racoons. I'm sold.

Marvel Studios has been like Pixar so far. Both have put out a bunch of good stuff, and even their poorest showings have not been bad, just mediocre. Unlike DC which cannot seem to get it's act together with movies based on their properties.

The thing about Marvel Studios is, "comic book movie" doesn't even really mean anything anymore. Genre-wise, GotG looks divorced pretty much completely from something like Iron Man or even Thor. I'm not excited for it because "superheroes in space", I'm excited because "James Gunn movie in the Marvel Universe". I'm also not the biggest Ant-Man fan, but I'm damn excited for "Egar Wright movie in the Marvel Universe".

GOTG certainly looks good from that trailer. We will have to see how it all turns out, but its amazing Marvel can turn such an unknown property into a successful movie. I think as long as the product is good they will continue to be successful, though personally I was not a fan of Iron-Man 3 or the way the Ant-Man movie is looking thus far. I will be interested to see what happens once they own the movie rights to all their characters again.

DC should be releasing pictures of the new Batman and Wonder Woman costumes in the coming weeks as well.

Have you read the Dan Abnett run? I've only read the first few volumes, but it's ridiculously good, and I've heard it only gets better.

Is anyone a big Ant Man fan? :p

I've heard the same, but meh. I imagine I'd enjoy it if I made the effort, but I read too much Marvel already.

But... but... diversity! Only one White Human Male in the group! Of course, he is leading the team... sort of.

Raccoons are sorely underrepresented in modern media.
