If this means they're looking at reviving the Jedi Knight series...

Edit: EA said last year that none of their games were going to be direct tie-ins to the films.

 

You heard it here first, DICE's Battlefront will have unlockable Jedi Knight heroes. /rumorstart

 

Combine that with Bioware working on a TOR/KotOR rpg and Visercal probably working on a jedi like game, I would say...

 

Watch Battlefront just be a reskinned Battlefield 4.
I am really hoping it's not true but it's most likely that it's going to be a fps even though the other games were third person. And don't give me that crap that because they included a first person option that it was a first person. Fallout 3 and Elder scrolls 4 are first person even though they included an utterly pointless 3rd person mechanic.

I think it's more likely that they'll just get their development team to make a Star Wars version of whatever games are selling at the time.

And then EA remembered that they wanted to make money, and laughed at their momentary burst of insanity.

Battlefront I was just a reskinned BF 1942, and it was fine. BF II added poor space combat, and shoehorned in Heroes at the the expense of the rest of the game.

 

As a follow up to this, they put the (stellar) first season of Young Justice on Nexflix this morning. Anyone who hasn't watched it should do so, it's one of the best superhero shows made since JLU ended. And it's Greg Weisman's last show before he started work on Rebels.

EDIT: I see Green Lantern TAS and the rest of B:TBATB are on as well. I am a happy camper.

 

Just finished Reaper's Gale. I think it was the best Malazan book I've read so far.

 

Yeah, Reaper's Gale is up there with Memories of Ice as high points of the Malazan. Of the remaining three, I'd say Dust of Dreams is the slowest. Which is made up for in The Crippled God.

 

I'll put it at the top of my "to-watch" list.

 

I finally got around to making my fresh start with the Legendary Edition in Skyrim, after The Midden Dark flatly refused to load, which prevented me from completing my last Ritual Spell, the Restoration Ritual Spell.

Would anyone recommend watching Agents of SHIELD ?

I really just can't recommend it, just go and watch Almost Human instead, so much better a show.

 

Back from from my trip. Was good. While out there ('Dam), I noticed you could buy many a fake book to serve as 'secret containers'.
