Oh and, speaking of Mad Men....
I was never really a fan of him, so I was kinda glad when he didn't show up in season 4, but yeah, his return in 5 was, indeed, glorious.
...WTF did I just read? My brain is trying to process the madness, but all that I'm getting is that a homeschooled Mr. Burns runs the illuminaughty, who are trying to control the world through fluoride in order to access the ancient stargate of Babylon so they can take American's guns.
Is that correct?
Your guess is as good as mine.
Is this meant to be hilarious? Because I think it's hilarious.
Waking up to that thread brought warm feelings to my heart.
That thread is like reading a book about Truthers. And why does it hate homeschooling so much?
As a homeschooler, should I be offended?
I'd say there are reasons to homeschool in certain situations and there are ways to do it well.
Wanting to indoctrinate one's children into young Earth creationism, geocentrism and plain ****ing paranoia are not among them.
Not really, for the most part it looks like just the usual homeschooling myths.
I know quite a few homeschoolers who turned out well and quite a few public schoolers who didn't. I am not a fan of homeschooling because I think it's inadequate, but it's a little unfair to call names.
Put it this way: not all homeschool kids become crazy cultist truther ****s, but if you're a crazy cultist truther ****, you were probably homeschooled.
That's what Sheba said.
I was thinking of getting some work done on the Wook tonight.
I've since changed my mind and plan to work on art projects instead.
Probably a much more productive use of your time anyways.
Anything you are willing to share?
Once I'm done, sure!
Now EA needs to have Visceral Games finish 1313 and my Star Wars gaming hopes and dreams will be complete.
Don't demean the Dark Forces audio dramas.
You should hear Boba Fett in Dark Empire 2.
Edit: Speaking of EA, they need to contract Raven software to produce Jedi Knight 3: The Brink of Darkness.
Justin Chin works at Telltale Games!
Edit 2: I guess he doesn't anymore according to his LinkedIn.
I ordered a pizza. I'm going to go eat it and then work on art projects.
Got big plans for this weekend. Cleaning, working on projects, playing video games, and doing jack all while talking about acronyms, making lame puns, and complaining about CGI and the new TMNT.
Yep. Big plans.
Patch is promoted to mod favourite for being the only individual to appreciate my pun.
I'm going to run four miles tomorrow morning, then do laundry and clean my house.
Then drink wine and marathon whatever suits my fancy on Netflix. Because that's how I roll.
I'm going to open a new ISA last minute before the window for this year closes, read, play CKII/DSII and probably wind up in a pub or bar somewhere.
