Chic, IL indy knights versus chicago/quadcities paintball

this thread is a continuation of the discussion started at c3. so far, several indy knights are interested in taking you guys on in the field of battle. we would like this to be a seperate event from your regular event in hobart.

Who is "we"? Will more than just one of you actually show up for this? I know we've invited the IK's to join us each time.

I know that due to expense, planning and travel time we limit our Paintball excursions to 2x a year (October & April), and this challenge would be our October event. I would guess trying to schedule it for October would be the way to go if everyone's in agreement.

The location can be discussed as well. I know we have a great working relationship with Blastcamp. Sure there are better places to play, and variety is the spice of life, but we'd probably need to know that we're going to have a good bout if we change venues.

Of course you're invited. I know the Quad City Jedi's should be in attendance. If the IK's show up, I'd guess half the Midwest will want to be there.

HawkBat, Speedball is a waste of paint. Its the dumbest part of paintballing. Scenario is far superior.

 

I'm very much interested in this as I haven't played paintball in years, it would all be dependent on date and cost though.

 

But I like speed ball that is what you play on in tournaments and its fast but scenerio is good to. Just saying I like speedball.

Me and my A5 are ready to roll!

 

I might actually get there....depending on how soon a date is set...
I already have my fall schedule filling up...

 

I called Sherwood to check on their group rates (as directed by their website). The owner wasn't in, but I left my number and they promised he would call me back. $10 gets you in all day with your own equipment, so I can't imagine it would be too bad.

I noticed the all important "Field Paint Only" was missing from the website. I think I'll 'casually' ask about it.

Anyways, of course I'd love to do this. I missed the last paintball, and mah trigger fingah be itchin'.

I can understand everyones dislike for speedball I am just saying I like speedball. It what I play with my friends the most now since they are on teams and stuff.
