Just thought I would share with you guys.

 

Whip...check..fedora...check...holster and gun...check...leather jacket...check.. Indy at 64???? Ok, not ready to get out of the 1936 mode. But, at least we finally have that 4th film.

*looks at self* Brings new meaning to, "It's not the years..it's the milage.!"

Hmmm... Raiders at 38 in 1980, was 1934, so add 26 years...

That would put this epsiode in 1960.

Whoa. Any later would put him smack in the middle of the hippie movement, and that would be just too much to digest I think.

 

Yeah, that frightens me. A lot.

I dunno, I adore Indy, of course. But I have misgivings about this film. Sort of like seeing the original ST cast just looking way way way way too old to be believable on a military ship toward the end.

We'll see. I WANT to love it, and it's entirely possible I will. But...it is a little unnerving.

I know... I absoluely adore Harrison as Indy..but I really wish they had gone with Sean Patrick Flannery (Young Indy) on this one. He would be at the right age..and does the character spot-on.

Same thing here..crossing fingers and waiting for the trailers. Last thing I would want to see is the final film just...you know...

Hopefully he won't try to re-cut Raiders like he did with Star Wars.

Thank the maker the 3D project has died, I'm not buying yet another copy of the films until the HD format wars are over and the prices get reasonable.

Although with the chip technology I suspect that video discs will be next to go, you just get the little USB plug for your movies next. If it doesn't get beamed directly to your home from the satellite that is.
