Info on how to organize a raffle?

I'll probably be moving sometime around July and am getting sick of dragging all my Star Wars stuff and comics around with me. I keep hoping I'll get a place big enough to properly display my passion, but I never do. So, to keep from tripping over all this stuff for the rest of my life, I thought I'd give a raffle a try. And thought a great place to have it would be at the celebration. But I've no idea how to organize one, or what laws have to be observed. If anyone has some suggestions please post some info.

I think that you have to have it where the proceeds are donated to a charity, otherwise you'd have to get a dealers table.

Also, if you're going to go that route, I would suggest you go through one of the Fan Forces - Our fan Force will have a collection tin for the Hayden's Birthday Project, but We had to go through Mary Franklin do do it
