I swear. Hyperspace will drive what is left of my sanity away.

 

Most issues did. 60% I'd say. But some issues were plain stupid. Like yes, the bunny and Quixote, the pirate race and Han going to Russia.

I think the 10 "good" ones they wrote are extras that won't be in the magazine. The article is titled "20 More EU Moments: Good, Not So Good and Just Plain Weird"

Well, there is a character in the CCG named Niado Duegad, which is an anagram for "Dianoga Dude." Its a pretty fair description, too...

 

I have to agree that Anakin singing in TAS was cringe inducing.

 

I thought it was an okay idea.

I mean, I'm glad we didn't have to hear it, but the concept was alright.

 

I hated Anakin singing in TAS. It made an already horrible book completely unbearable, IMO.


So, anyone get the new Insider yet ?

 

What day did it ship out 'cause I've yet to get mine.

 

I think I still get it, but mine didn't come Friday, Saturday or Yesterday. It'll be just my luck if it comes today since I won't be home to get it! .


Top 20 moments will be really cool to read, I think.

 

ok, so i have only seen a few of the marvel comics and i own one....its the one about Bespin and them retaking it from the Empire, this is one of the worst moments ever. They go down to the surface of bespin, and all the Ugnaughts live down there and it looks like a Dr. Seuss jungle...

/shudder

 

That "surface" is another platform below Cloud City, called the "Ugnaught Surface." It works, but nothing fixes the way the Ugies talk.

 

Im pretty sure TOS said that is started shipping on the 20th, although I could be wrong. The reason I was asking is because I think that my subscription ran out but Im not 100% positive. Ah, well, I guess Ill konw soon enough.

 

Got Insider. Having but skimmed the article so far, I have only one comment:

"I bid you all Dark Greetings"? "I BID YOU ALL DARK GREETINGS???"

All this time...all these years.....and no one's ever mentioned that line??? Screw "without three eyes, he could never have achieved perfection"; THAT is the single greatest line I have ever heard.

 

Oh, yes. Moff Hissa has many wonderful and intelligent sayings throughout the GoDV series. The entire series is a hoot if you go through it looking for silly lines, and the "Dark Greetings" one is one of the dumbest.

Is there art for the worst EU moments also?

What's the timeline placement for Intermezzo?

 

I'm ticked off by the fact that anakin Solo's death only got an honorable mention. He should have been at the top of the list with a picture.

I must say that I dissagree with most of Abel Pena's picks for the 20 most memorable moments. But Joe Corroney's awesome art makes up for it!
