Don't take life too seriously, you'll never get out alive
"I could not, would not with a goat!"
Don't underestimate the power of the force - it sucked me in, you could be next.
Would you, could you, on a boat?
I could not, would not, on a boat.
I HATE that song. What's worse is that my daughter is at the age that she's starting to pick out what music is "cool" to her, and she's decided that anything that's on disney is "cool" including zach&cody, raven, hannah montana, and, of course, High School Musical.
Honesty is a good thing, but it is not profitable to its possessor unless it is kept under control -- Don Marquis (1878 - 1937)
Zach K. or for those who don't know, my four year old son while walking in line to the Indiana Jones Ride at Disney Land, who saw several skeletons
"dad, I can't go on this ride, I am allergic to dead people"
After the game,
the king and the pawn go into the same box.
"Size matters not. Look at me. Judge me by my size, do you? Hmm? Hmm. And well you should not. For my ally is the Force, and a powerful ally it is. Life creates it, makes it grow. Its energy surrounds us and binds us. Luminous beings are we, not this crude matter. You must feel the Force around you; here, between you, me, the tree, the rock, everywhere, yes. Even between the land and the ship."
Thanks CH, I have heard that line a million times, however everytime I hear it it makes me feel good.
I think these two go together nicely:
Constant dripping hollows out a stone.
Nothing contributes so much to tranquilize the mind as a steady purpose--
a point on which the soul may fix its intellectual eye.
After reading the line about constant dripping hollows a stone, I am going to the bathroom
Woah...that was deep.
Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds.
When I quote others I do so in order to express my own ideas more clearly.

Normally I don't touch religion, but the Pope's statement has me a little fired up.
I believe in God but I?d much rather live with people who care about each other than those who only care about God or heaven.

We do not live ethical lives out of a fear of God, but rather because it's the right thing to do, the kind of people we want to be. We could go sin every week then run and confess to be saved, or we could think ahead and just try to do the right thing in the first place.

To infinity and beyond!
geez, look at WOBDZ, she leaves for weeks at a time and then comes back all controversially.
"Kid, I've flown from one side of this galaxy to the other. I've
seen a lot of strange stuff, but I've never seen anything to make me
believe there's one all-powerful force controlling everything. There's
no mystical energy field that controls my destiny."

I hope I never get so old I get religious.
Nothing will ever be attempted if all possible objections must first be overcome.
