Jon and I were supposed to catch the SW in 30 mins thingy at the Fringe a few years ago but, as always, couldnt get parked in Embra for love nor money so decided against it and headed back to sunny Glesga...stopping in at the Paul Klee and Daali exhibitions on the way back.

Feckin Embra and its funny parkin malarky!

 

Yup, Edinburgh's a bugger to park in alright. Especially at festival time.

...the reason im askin is because i am a direct descendant of him, (hes my great X6 grandfather) and i am trying to trace my genealogy...so if any of you are related to him, or know how i can get info on his descendants, PLEASE PM me...also, is Ewan McGregor related to him? i heard somewhere that he was...

the second reason is that I was interested in hearing other peoples point of views on the starwars saga

Thanks, MrDankDonk! Yes, I've heard it is a little bit cold up there - I'm sure I'll get lots of terribly fashionable thermal underwear for Christmas.

 

I recommend wooly underwear, a wooly hat , an electric blanket and a drink habit of roughly half a bottle of Grouse a night.

I'm quite a big guy myself, but I tell you, the fellas that used to wave those heavy bastards about must have been real brutes......

 

they must have....i just found out that in 2006 my family is takin a trip to the highlands of Scotland...we are gonna visit the towns where my ancestors came from, and of course, visit ol' Robby's gravesite. its 1 1/2 years away, but i cant wait

 

I'd like to have a chance to visit the towns of my own ancestors. My grandma has done a ridiculous amount of research into our geneology and I'd like to put some of it to good use!

I've never tried to pick up a broadsword, but I image those buggers must be really heavy. I have this Spanish sword and I'm still amazed at how heavy it is, and it's probably not half the size of a broadsword.
