OK, let's see if I can remember all the questions:

I'm Tracy Kelly, 33, sonographer from Yuma, Arizona.

I new to the boards and decided to visit the Scotland forums because I am pissed off at several American posters-no worries- I'm sure we'll all be friends by morning.

    Fave SW character- BOBA FETT

Last book read HARRY POTTER AND THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX

What else was there...not whisky or whiskey, how about anything with rum?

Transforming into an animal, which one...a bald eagle, endangered, protected, flies.

OK, I probably forgot something but it's a start!

If you could be re-incarnated as an animal, what one would you choose? A bird
How's the weather? Not too bad thanks!

Hullo. I'd like to take up the occasional residence here for posting and generally messing about if I may. I'm hoping that this board's reasonably welcoming for those of us who aren't Scottish('Scots-Dash' if you understand Venn Diagrams).

I know Malkie already, and since he and I are nemeses, I'm hoping he doesn't catch me here unawares.

    Name: Adam(call me Adz)
    Age: 29
    Where are you from? Swindon
What are you doing on the Scottish board? I've heard about the Glaswegian Star Wars, and can't wait to read it.
Favourite Star Wars episode: The Empire Strikes Back
Favourite Star Wars character: Vader or maybe Palpatine. Hard to choose.
If you could be re-incarnated as an animal, what one would you choose? A Swan.
How's the weather? Pissin' it down.
    Tea or coffee? Tea
Irn Bru or Coca Cola? Er... I'll say Irn Bru, before I get my wimpy, silk-tie-wearing South-o'-the-border arse pummelled.
Whisky or whiskey? Usually drunk by the time I give the spelling any thought.
Last dream you remember: I wrote it up as a horror story. Wanna read it? PM me. It's ****-scary.
Most embarrassing person you've ever fancied: I've been embarrassed and humiliated EVERY TIME I've made the mistake of actually fancying someone!
Last book you read: I eat them.

That's most o' my personal details. I wondered if Darth_Thump is ever to be found hanging around these boards. I owe him a debt, since his Glaswegian lessons proved most amusing and inspirational. A few days ago, I felt compelled to offer "Star Wars in Glaswegian" scene on the London FFUK as a strange gift for Malkie, and have Thumper's lessons to thank for inspiring me to write that. Anyway, having done it, and shown my "work"(LOL!) to solojones and Malkie himself, they both informed me that Star Wars in Glaswegian is alive and well here on these boards. So, I figured I'd best come and check it out.

So hello to you all! :D :)

    Adz. :D

Sadly I'm not a burd, but Malkie's seen me dressed as one.

Edit: thinkin' about it, my 'answers' post contains the confession that, of all the animals I'd like to be reincarnated as a Swan- or at least, it's the animal that's most befitting of me - BUT, somehow, I'm not quite sure that's the kind of burd you meant. ;)

I actually have a pet ferret........ and my dad has 10 of the nippy wee buggers..... come from a long line of gamekeepers, y'know....

aye the glasgow race ? nae worries about finishing it, cos this is my fourth or fifth go, and I know what to expect (pain, blisters, pain, chafing, pain, bleeding nipples and pain) ? the big question is "what time?" will I do it in.

I dream of 1hr 45mins, but 1hr 55 is probaby closer to the mark.

anyway, genuinely training time. see yous bawbags later.

aye well, its been tropical here, quite literally.....

several glorious incredibly hot days, building to a peak of clamminess, then several torrential downpour days, still hot , then back to the sunshine, and repeat...

not the usual scottish pattern at all.
actually reminds me very much of India, which I visited a few times last century - completely predictable weather, with lovely sunshine then a warm downpour at 4pm every day.

very much beer weather, as opposed to spirits.
