yes indeed, Shazza, this whirlwind jetset lifestyle I lead, eh ?

not really.... no holidays to speak of all year cos I've been trying tae flog that dratted flat.... now with work closing in on me, I was going to lose several weeks entitlement if I didn't just say " fudge it" and go somewhere before Crimble.

So I did. And now I'm full of wine and pizza

Well there is something we have in common: we're both full of pizza.

And we both sound like jetsetters...a week and a half after returning home from Scotland, I went to the Bahamas for a 3-day cruise. Of course I didn't get a tan...despite how dark my arms are from summer cycling and being out the window of my car, all I managed to get was about twice as many freckles as I had before.

Most relevant story from the Bahamas: We stopped into one of the duty free alcohol stores, of which every third store is in Nassau it seemed, I found Buckfast! I never even saw Buckfast in Scotland and I found it in one store in Nassau. Even took a picture of it just to prove it!

Enjoy your holiday, dear. Have a bottle of chianti for me, Tuscan in nature preferably. I have yet to find one that matches the quality I had as a house wine in Sienna. You better email me when you get back!

if its anything like Glasgow's been ths last week, fudging miserable, i imagine.

however, follwing Thistle's glorious draw over Hearts at the weekend, the sun still shines on Firhill.

 

It wasn't too bad - especially compared to last year.
I couldn't really complain about the weather.
