Well, my name is Julian (call me that from now on). Age 16. I love Star Wars, but because I haven't had a fan club for so long, I can't say that I'm as passionate about it as I used to be. I mean, when the movies were still coming out, or when the fanforce started, I could go deep into a SW conversation. Not so much anymore because I don't have anyone to talk to about Star Wars. Anyway, don't think that because I come to these forums I'm a nerd by default. I prefer the term geek, though people tell me I don't have the appearance of one. I enjoy going outdoors, mainly to play basketball. That's the thing with me, I like doing a little bit of everything. I'm not a jock. Not a nerd. Not a prep. Not an intellectual. No particular clique. I talk to everyone. And I'm proud to say that. My favorite music is produced by System of a Down. My favorite movie is, ironically, not Star Wars but "As Good As It Gets", with Jack Nicholson (my favorite actor). I play video games, but not PC games -- I detest them. The closest I come to a PC game is Space Pinball, which came with my version of Windows XP. I stick mainly with Nintendo. I was into Xbox for a while, but I went through somewhat of a renaissance and began to stick soley with Mario, Link, and the rest of the gang. I'm mainly into handheld games, by the way. On television, I watch only the news, sports, comedy, movies, and American Idol. Nothing else. At all. Oh, and I'm one of the three people in America that still don't watch Family Guy. Before I continue, I would like to thank two people: DarthKornRawker and JediCerasiKaDela. These two forum members that are no longer here were right there with me and I with them in the struggle to create a fanforce. Even though we never saw the kind of success that we wanted, our effort was there, and that's what matters. KornRawker was there every meeting and CerasiKaDela rode all the way from West Palm Beach to Dolphin Mall for the meetings that coincided with her schedule. I thank you both so much for that. I will never forget either of you. On a final note, I would like to say that I look forward to establishing a solid fanforce, not loose like prior ones. My main and possibly only goal is to make our page on this website look very nice like the other successful fanforces. I want to see "Miami Sandtroopers" up there, not the default title. I look forward to meeting all the members that are interested in this. This isn't only about Star Wars. That's what is often confused. It's about socialising. Getting out of the house and getting a tan from the actual sun, not the computer screen. Let's ge this show started!
