MN Introducing Jabba's Palace Survivor...

For those who haven't played before, e-mail me your pick for who you predict will survive consistent rounds of elimination. If your pick wins, you get approximately $30-$50 worth of SW prizes. Only one person can predict each character and its first come first served. If you choose a character that's already been chosen by someone else, I'll ask you to pick again. It might be wise to send your 2nd and 3rd and maybe even 4th choices for your prediction too so you don't end up with the worst character. I'll let you know if you got your first choice or not. Final predictions are due by midnight April 30. Round 1 will begin on May 1.

Now here's the list of characters to choose from along with a very brief character description of each.


- 8D8: White skeletal maintenace droid. Although he sympathizes with them, he is forced to torture fellow droids by Jabba. Hates EV-9D9

- AMANAMAN: Male Amanin headhunter. Hangs the skulls of his victims on his staff. His real name is unknown on Tatooine.

- ARICA: Mara Jade posed as the the dancer Arica to infiltrate Jabba's Palace and was ordered to assasinate Luke Skywalker there.

- BARADA: Klatooinian sold into slavery and won by Jabba in Sabacc. He's in charge of Maintenance and supplies of Jabba's vehicles.

- BIB FORTUNA: Jabba's Twi'lek Majordomo. Easily manipulated by mind tricks. One of many plotting to kill Jabba.

- BOBA FETT: I'm guessing you already know who he is.

- B'OMARR MONK: Jabba's Palace used to be the monks be their monastery until Jabba seized it. Shed their bodies and have brains carried in a jar by spider-like automatons. By shedding their bodies they seek to achieve enlightenment.

- BOUSHH: Princess Leia Organa went undercover as the famous bounty hunter in an attempt to free Han Solo.

- DENGAR: Fierce Corellian bounty hunter. Has a person grudge against Han Solo since he was injured in a swoop race with him. He must wear bandages because of the accident. Traveled to Jabba's Palace after Fett got his prey.

- DROOPY McCOOL: Lead jizz wailer in the Max Rebo Band. Searching for a fellow Kitonak rumored to be living free on Tatooine.

- EPHANT MON: Loyal Chevin associate of Jabba. A smuggler by trade, he keeps Jabba informed of various plots against his life.

- EV-9D9: Superivisor droid who particularly enjoys his assignment torturing other droids. Fitted C-3P0 and R2-D2 with restraining bolts and gave them their assignments. Used to be employed in Cloud City.

-GAMORREAN GUARD: Strong, but dumb pig-like guards at Jabba's Palace.

- JABBA THE HUTT: Notorious Tatooine based gangster. He put a bounty on Han Solo for dumping a load of spice when boarded by Imperials and never paying him back. Now Mr. Solo is his favorite decoration.

- KLATUU: Nikto who is Barada's main assistant. In charge of reparing the skiffs. Always tries to make it back to watch the Rancor get fed.

- MALAKILI: Also known as the Rancor Keeper. Sneaks the Rancor out for runs in the Tatooine desert. Deeply saddened by his keep's demise.

- MAX REBO: Ortolan leader of Jabba's band and gambler. Signed a lifetime contract with Jabba in exchange for unlimited food. Looks like a blue elephant.

- OOLA: Twi'lek woman who became a dancer because she longed for a life of luxury. Her desperation to escape Jabba lead her on a trip to the Rancor Pit.

- RANCOR: Jabba's pet and means of disposal for his enemies. Ferocious, highly dangerous, if a little slow. Watch out for the trap door!

- REE-YEES: Smuggler who is slowly going insane. Gran exiled from his homeworld for murder. Bounty Hunter fond of making things explode.

- SALACIOUS CRUMB: Kowakian Monkey Lizard who is the "court jester" for Jabba. His lifespan depends upon keeping Jabba entertained. Likes to pull droids eyes out. Ahahahahahahahahahahahhahaha!

- SARLACC: Creature that resides in the Great Pit of Carcon on Tatooine. In his belly you will be digested for thousands of years. Burps when he has eaten a particularly tasty meal.

- SY SNOOTLES: Pa'lowic

 

For further explanation, here goes. An even number of characters will be separated into two groups. Each round, a character from each of the two groups will be voted off by all the participants. When the list drops to about 8 characters, the groups will merge. The sole survivor of elimination will win the prizes. Everyone has the option to vote every round, even if you've been voted off aleady (so you can seek revenge if you so choose or go with who you like). You will be reminded about new rounds via e-mail, PMs, or ICQ, its your choice. I think that explains everything.
