Chic, IL Introductions!!!!

I'm not "new" I suppose, but I have been absent for quite awhile...

I'm Bethany, a freelance musician (you might have heard me sing on the Force Cast...I'm kind of a regular. Haha!) in Lakeview/Uptown.

 

wow, I haven't been on the boards in a long time...but anyway I just moved to Chicago and would love to meet some other Star Wars fans.

Welcome, Stickster. I hope you're able to make it to one of our upcoming events. If you're into the books, we do have a monthly book club that's always a lively source of conversation.

haha! Yes, I guess it's been a while since I changed that, too. I was living in Ireland around the last time I was actively posting on TFN For now though I've moved here from California.

Yep, I guess my profile gives me away - I'm a huge sucker for the books. When's the next meeting?

 

The next book club is on Saturday, September 27 at 1:00 P.M. at the Barnes & Noble at 590 E. Golf Road, Schaumburg. The book is X-Wing: The Bacta War by Michael Stackpole. If you don't have a car, we're usually real good on rides.

Hey I am apparently finding all these threads in the wrong order, but whatever.

Like I said, I'm a guy, 23, and I graduated from Wheaton College in May.
I moved back home to El Paso, TX in May and then in October moved on back to Wheaton. Hooray for post graduation indecision.
I love the books, have read most of them, and I love star wars and celebrating it. Hoping for a Chicago '10 Celebration V. I was starting to get a fanforce going in El Paso until I decided to move back here to Chicago parts.

Right now, I'm just working- I work retail at a music store in Aurora and I'm pretty involved in my church, that's about it.

Would love to meet some of you soon!

Hope you can make it out to the book signing. Be brave and ask around at
