Chapter 3: The Starless Sunset Tavern-Coming Soon!

You know, I'm being really nice to you guys lately. I have good news for you! There'll be another post today!

Meet Aadie. Lilac mentioned that this spunky 17-year-old Twi'lek girl was on a secret mission. She is! She has the gift of the Inner Eye, and is an undercover Jedi, posing as a dancer in the Starless Sunset Tavern. She's also the daughter of a Jedi...What's her name...Aayla Secura? Oh, yes, that's right.

With her is Erika Kino, a dancer with powers that even she isn't aware of. With violet eyes and looks that can actually kill, she's the key to saving Jaina Solo's life. And let's just say she'll take to Zekkie... they've met.

Seems like I'm not the only one that caught the Aayla Secura bug!

And Her Royal Ambyr-ness, meesa thinkin that yousa hatin on Twi'leks.

 

Chapter 3: The Starless Sunset Tavern

?Have a good time! Stay safe, we don?t want another missing person on our hands.? Leia hugged Zekk fondly and then moved back to her regular position of under Han?s arm. Jag looked as if he wanted to be hugged as well, but Han shot him a withering look.

The Lightning Rod was almost fully packed. Anakin and Luke had been hauling anything from suitcases to sofas onboard all morning.

?Why do you need a sofa?? Anakin asked, grunting as he pushed the dingy beige thing into the cargo hold.

Jag smiled and made sure Zekk could hear him. ?So Jaina and I can make out on it when I rescue her from evils unknown.?

Anakin shook his head. He?d never really liked Jag, and wasn?t too pleased at the thought of his sister laying on a couch with the guy. ?Yeah, and my mom wore a gold bikini for some slimeball Hutt!?

Leia looked up at Han nervously. ?Did you tell him!?? she whispered.

Han frantically shook his head no, and Mara walked out to save him further unnecessary interrogation.

?Zekk, Jag, are you sure you want to go through with this?? Mara knew that, even though the two claimed to be able to tolerate one another, that long periods of time spent in the same area could quickly demolish all ties that had been weakly constructed.

Upon seeing Mara, Leia grabbed a chair and forced her to sit down. The red head looked to her husband for support, but a glare from Leia told him that he was no longer in control of Mara?s position.

Luke hoisted up the last item and dusted off his hands satisfactorily. ?That?s the last of it. Good luck to you boys. I?ll be expecting my niece back soon; she?s the only one I have.?

Anakin looked at the blonde girl walking over to hug Zekk goodbye. ?Not for long.? he muttered.

Tahiri punched Jag on the shoulder for a goodbye, and hard, bringing a load ?Oww!? from her victim. Pleased, she strutted over to Anakin.

?You?re not leaving my sight for awhile, Dummy.? She?d been very protective of him ever since their engagement. Not that Anakin didn?t enjoy the benefits. He kissed her cheek fondly.

Tahiri smiled as a smaller version of Luke with red hair came toddling out into the hangar, clutching a blankie and yelling, ?Mommy!?

This produced a small chuckle from Mara as he came right to her.

?I dun wiv my nap.? Ben had picked up talking almost immediately after he turned two. It was amazing, because many words he knew were words that Mara and Luke couldn?t recall him ever hearing, such as ?stang? and ?poodoo?. But there were other words, too. Words that intrigued them.

?Masser Oda say she be otay. Lily will save her. She on da planet Masser Oda says in Ben?s eyes.?

Still baffled by Ben?s babbling, Mara gently picked him up and, under Leia?s watchful eye, carried him back inside.

?Have fun, you guys, and don?t get into too much trouble. If you have to get into any, do it bringing my sister home, okay?? Anakin waved as he escorted Tahiri back into the house. Tahiri had finally found just the right wedding dress, and he wasn?t going to miss her trying it on.

Jag felt rather neglected by these people bidding him farewell. Then again, they?d grown up with Zekk. He, Jag, was just a newcomer who?d broken their trust. He?d prove himself when he brought Jaina back, though.

He fingered the ring in his pocket. And when she became his wife.

After a few more adieus, Jag and Zekk got in the ship. But before take-off, there were some minor things to discuss.

?First of all, I am the pilot. I steer. Secondly, Jaina, when I rescue her, is mine. She technically belongs to me, anyway. Last but not least, do not touch me. Ever.?

Zekk snorted. ?I?d say, ?Aye, aye, Cap?n Cardboard?, but I have a few discrepancies. It?s my ship, in case you haven?t noticed, and thus, I steer it. You wouldn?t know how to if the instruction booklet was pasted to your eyeballs. Jaina belongs to me more than you; we shared a wonderful night together the day before she was stolen away. I still think you have something

 

Nice. I really like the new characters. Do I sense somebody is gonna fall for somebody? (not the guys falling for the girls)

Ooooooh, lots of action there. So Erika was another former Shadow Academy student eh? Glad she got out of there! Anakin should beat Fel's butt! Need more!

 

J&J: Maybe...Good! You like the new characters!

JMK: Like my action? I'm glad. Anakin should kick Jag's butt...but Jag is more scared of Zekk @ the moment.

Hwich is why... I can't say this... Umm... Jag get over Jaina and go for that Erika girl. *throws up* Oh I can't believe I said that.

 

This Erika is sure a hottie.

Erika apologized profusely as Grina, an Ewok that could speak over 2,000 languages, lead her over to her position.

*sigh* I love Ewoks...

And Ambyr, you're really good at making me hate Jag.
