San Diego, CA Invite to Join LA in softball

Dearest neighbors to the south,

For the upcoming Picnic in the park, we were contemplating having San Diego and LA perhaps team up to play OC in softball. We don't quite have enough players for a full team.

Would you guys have an interest?
The LA Fan Force welcomes you guys to play with us regardless of athletic ability, coordination or skill.
We are all here to have fun. (and tease the loosing team a bit)

Please bring your baseball mits and tennis shoes.
If anyone has an extra bat or two, please bring as well.

I'd love to play softball and I know for a fact that Nora is looking forward to it as well. I'm sure we can provide some more members to fill out the team.

OK, if anyone had bases, or something to work as bases, that would be awesome. They are kind of expensive. Or else, we can use pieces of cardboard
12 X 12, give or take.

Please bring a bat if you have, I have 2 I think.

Donny might have a mitt for me to use, if not, my daughters will probably fit me but she might want to play herself as she is on a softball team.

 

I have mitts, bats, and bases.

Bob the Builder is assistant coach on Sean's Little League team, so I'll bring it with me. Couldn't convince the family to attend. Spoil-sports.

 

Cool. I thought we were going to have to use paper plates for bases.
