Oh, I forgot the meeting was tonight
Good to hear it went well
You guys didn't scare Jon-Paul and I off, lol. We actually had a great time and I know I'm looking forward to the next meeting! I'll try to get JP on the boards...hehehe...the corruption has begun.
Astounding and frightening huh? I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing, lol. I'll take it as a compliment.
Overall, I'd say that the meeting went very well, though this was my first meeting and I'm not sure what you guys usually do at them. Hearing the Ackbar lobster story was just priceless. I don't think I'll ever for get THAT one, LOL!
Hmm....bored....next class starts in a half hour. It's only 10:20 and I've already had 2 classes....need sleep....need caffine....need to go watch something....urg.
EDIT: Btw, Edric, remember to get that outline to me so we can get to work on your story!
Ackbar was actually there in Spirit.
The meeting was great, glad to meet some new members. JMJ, I'll see what I can do regarding an outline. I have 3 days off in a row, so that should help my creative juices.
You know, "Ackbar isn't really gone... as long as we remember him...." One of my favorite cheesy lines from the "other" show....
And don't forget to let us know how your blind banker date goes!!!!
Maybe the next book should be called "The Search for Ackbar" (Try Captain D's ).
Seriously, I really think some tag should have been put in about Ackbar especially after Destiny's Way.
I've still got a "bad feeling" about this blind date. Oh well, it won't be the first time.
May fortune favor the foolish!
If your Greyness is rememb'red of it, Ackbar was fond of saying "there are always.... possibilities..." even when "it was a trap!!!"
And so my banking friend, this day shall ne'er go by, from this day to the ending of the galaxy., but Ackbar in it shall be remembered, those few, those fishy few, that band of Mon Calamarians....
Dude, for the last time, Tolkien you aren't
O for a holoprojector that would ascend the brightest heaven of invention,
A star system for a canvas, jedi to render and Senators of the Old Republic to behold the glowing light!
Then should the warlike Skywalker, like himself,
Assume the port of Ulic Qel-Droma; and at his heels,
Leash'd like Gundarks, should blasters, ion cannons and lightsabers
Crouch for employment. But pardon, gentles all
The flat unraised spirits that hath dar'd
On this unworthy parchment to bring forth
So great an object. Can these pithy light waves hold
the vasty dunes of Tatooine? Or may we cram
Within this book O the very armors
That did affright the air of Geonosis?
Think, when we talk of speeders, that you see them
Floating on repulsors o'er the dusty sands of time.
For tis your thoughts that now must deck our warriors,
Carry them here and there, jumping o'er galaxies far, far away,
Turning the accomplishments of a long time ago
into a chonometer: for which the supply,
Admit me Chorus to the history.
Good Charlotte are better at fine art than you are
Star Wars: New Jedi Order: Force Heretic II: Refugee. Barnes and Noble. Tuesday, September 30th at 6:30 p.m. Be there as we discuss the search for Zonoma Sekot <sp?>, the Chiss Empire, and Steve's bad taste in movies (See the E'ville Jedi Lounge thread).
All are welcome, except Stackpole, who abandoned us for BS...I mean BSU.
Via con dios.
You had it right the first time
I shall be there to defend the honor of the wonderful actress in Underworld. It is a good thing that I always carry my Count Dooku Lightsaber, for I will need it.
Preacherman: We will not settle this with our sharp wit, sir, but our skill with the lightsaber.
YEEE HAAA let's get ready to rumble
Peaches and cream,
PS: Is there a Spencer's Gifts at Eastland Mall? I hear that they carry action figures from Underworld. I simply must have one of Selene to put up with Admiral Ackbar and Mr. Spock. They are looking forward to having someone new to talk to.
Yeah, there's a Spencers there.
There is most definetly a Spencer's at Eastland...lol....
There you go, you heard it straight from a girl
JMJ and Stacky:
Outstanding! I will be at Eastland Mall to attempt to locate a plastic reproduction of Selene. I may even need to bring Admiral Ackbar and Ambassador Spock along.
On second thought, that would be a bad idea. The last time the three of us went on a road trip, we couldn't agree on the music. The Admiral is in to Rap and the good Ambassador likes Elton John. As is usually the case, I had to find the happy medium. We turned off the radio and I sang tunes from the Mannilow Collection.
"At the Copa - Copacabanna...."
Ackbar's taste in music sucks, Spock's is okay, and yours is just pitiful
Ah, but you've never heard me sing "Mandy". Now, be a good boy and pop over to my Scary Movie Thread and share your opinion for scariest movie.
Manilow = teh suckage
I don't know, I thought 'Manilow = teh suckage' was pretty clear
I say we read the novelisation of "Point Break."
WTJosh is 'Point Break'?
SEE YA ALL AT BOOK CLUB!
I'LL BRING MY LIGHTSABER!
HAVE FUN, AND REMEMBER TO turn off your capslock, Lobster Boy!
