^^Oh, well. I'll come up with some other friendly banter. I've decided to go cold turkey on DMDEW. Only one left. Then, my mind will clear. :)

    Peace,

    Edric

DMDew sucks. If you must drink diet, drink Diet Coke with Lime or A&W diet root beer. ;)

^^Diet A&W is fine. But my stomach being what it is (real close to ulcer city) I think I'm going to try water and diet 7 UP.

    Peace,

    Edric

Greeting, EU fans. (Hi to Scott & Nathan as well.)

This month's book club will be next Tuesday, March 30th at 6:30 p.m. at Borders in the cafe. Due to Stackpole's incessant badgering since we started Book Club, the selection for this month is X-Wing: Rogue Squadron.

The bad news is that I will be gone on a campus visit that day so I will be unable to provide the guidance and leadership that I usually bring to such meetings. So, I'm looking for an "Emperor for a Day". Someone to step up and lead this meeting in my absence. Feel free to be tyrannical and cruel to anyone that hasn't read the book.

Steve, Stackpole, one of you guys interested?

Um, I feel it should be me, since the author is my e-namesake, and anyone who doesn't read this book is a stupid prat. :)

Ok. Since Stackpole's the first to reply (Stackpole was on the boards, imagine that :) ), I'll let him lead this month's club. Stackpole, remember to use your powers for evil and not for good.

^^Eee gads, if Stacky's leading, then I might have to pick my teeth that night! :)

I'm re reading this book and find that it is very enjoyable. Of course, the last book I read was in the NJO series, so just about anything would seem to be good compared to that!

    Peace,

    Edric

Even though I never end up reading the book in question (and Audible.com for some reason hasn't landed a contract to carry SW) I still attend BC meetings just to hang with you guys, and nothing short of Stacky presiding over the meeting could stop me.

Waitaminute.. did that other post say...? OH NOOOOOOO!!!

Just kidding, I'll still be there.. hopefully with a couple of new prop replicas to show off... :)

^^ I look forward to seeing your props!

Anyway, I'm 130 pages away from finishing this book. But, oh, no, I just got some Roswell Novels in the mail! I'm going to be sooooooooooooooo confused Monday! Wait, this is nothing abnormal! :)

    Peace,

    Edric

PS. That new coffee place, Seekers, has a band area. I say we meet before or after and sing!

    :)

Edric - If we decide to meet at a coffee house, let's meet at a REAL coffee house like Penny Lane (corner of Mulberry and Second, free plug for them!). :)

I can do poetry - sort of. I once wrote a poem to a girl that I liked comparing her to a star (up in the sky star, not movie star).

    Well, it didn't work.

    Poodoo.

    Peace,

    Edric

    Woo.

Now, for those who don't usually make book club, there'll be inordinate amounts of making fun of "Trinidad"* Adam Payne, so fun should prevail.

    *WTF?
