So yeah, I went to go give plasma so that I'd have money to pay the internet bill. I couldn't, because apparently on Friday, a transformer blew, and fried a bunch of their equipment. They just got their power working right yesterday, and have someone coming in today to check out all the equipment to see what all needs replaced. So I was told that I can't give plasma there until Monday at the earliest...

On another note, the crack in my wall is getting bigger...

No, no...it's the way the board software works that's a pain in the tuckus.

See, I HIT Quote Reply, but I wanted to respond point-by-point. However, unlike most board software, this board won't let you just quote some text without crediting it to someone...if you try, THIS happens:

Most boards will just post a quote with no name attached, but this board won't letcha. So every time you want to quote someone AND address their points individually, you have to type in their damn name for each quote-block. And when some schmucko has a long-ass name with lots of random characters stung together into an acronym, it can be a real pain in the patootie to actually respond to them. That's why you'll often find me abbreviating names in quotes rather than typing the whole thing out...or expressing my frustration with the board software by mangling a person's name when it's a pain to type it in...like DVCPRO-XLR82XS-OMGWT*BBQ's name up there. *growl*

 

Copy/Paste is your friend. Use it. Much easier. Or if you hit "Last Five Replies" you can quote it from there.

 

Still a pain; I prefer the uncredited-quote option. Much easier, much faster, less hassle. This is the most...hmmm...pedantic board software I've ever worked with. Meh.

On a more random note, it snowed up here last night, and I keep thinking, "I have an orange snowsuit." Snow+orange suit=film?

 

The contest my old sig linked to is over (we didn't win), so I changed it. Its actually another notable phrase with my friends (doesn't mean anything though), came up an a odd conversation, along with the gnorse (gnome/horse) and the scorphalant (scorpian/elephant). Didn't remember it was in your profile till just now.

I'd love to have different board software, but we're stuck with the IGN code for now. There are so many little things that would be nice to code for this place...at least we're not footing the bill this way though so I can't complain.

His group got handed shots before ours, and thus is ahead of the game.
