I briefly considered creating a poll to ask other users how I should answer this poll.
Regular users: yes, annoying posters: no.
Beat me to it,
I find it cute when forums treat polls as if they're sacred.
There are so many 3rd party poll services on the internet that it doesn't really matter, surely?
Like most things in life, they are good until someone comes over and ruins it.
people have been asking stupid questions here forever. checkable boxes don't change much.
None of those is the Laplace transform of sinh(x).
(1/2)[ e^(x) + e^(-x) ]
And there was much rejoicing.
I feel like I should know what (1/2)[ e^(x) + e^(-x) ] is, but it's been so long since I've taken that class.
It's the exponential representation of cosh(x). I'd argue it's also more useful.
This thread reminds me of the time I tried to learn C++.
I use some very rudimentary formulae in music and sound design (which is just about determining the size, shape and frequency of cycles, really), but pretty much everything in this thread makes my eyes bleed. If you understand this stuff, jolly well done.
The tiolet paper poll is important and you all know it.
I like hitting people with polls when they annoy me.
i was gonna say no but then i remembered that most of the good posters are not mods but regular posters and some of the mods are truly unfunny.
so i guess a better question would be "is allowing unfunny users to create polls a good idea?" in which case the answer is a very clear "no"
Polls are passe.
Hi guys. I just want to add that I also know maths.
