I think its coming along just fine. The new update looks great. I will set up a thread in 3SA and don't worry you'll get full credit D_S

The final product may not be exact, but those reference pics on page one are pretty thorough and I'm sure more GG pics are coming in the next few months.

Thanks Zoo...I was kinda nervous to post anything in case people trashed it...but it's nice to get some positive feedback...Kinda helps with the momentum of taking on such a task...

This is going to test my system though! haha. I'm only running on a PII 350, my only saving grace is it's loaded to the gills with RAM....Gonna have to upgrade I think...

I'll pick up modeling him tomorrow, gotta watch the Leafs game tonight...GO LEAFS GO!

I like it, but, I'll tell you some stuff you might want to fix. The snout(I think that's right) needs to be longer, and wider. Also, look at the eye shape from the Insider cover, it needs to be more straight on the top. Good job though, I hope you can finish it. I think the hardest part to do is the neck, it looks kind of weird. Good job and keep up the good work.

Do we know if the henchmen are fully droids, or cyborgs?

Anyways, back to the subject: How's the General Steve?

yeah it was cheap to buy too...I put a post a while ago asking for someone to put a biped...but found no luck.
But maybe steve could use his inner parts...they look similar, and it will save him time.

yeah it has a lot of structural similarities. That amazing TPM C3P0 model that was done could also be used to get some of the circuits for innurds of GG

    Hey guys,
just at work so I thought I would drop a line or two in here...I think that I'll probably stick to making him entirely...It is a good learning experience and I wouldn't feel right about piecing up someone else's model to use in this one. Either way it probably will take me about the same time to make as to modify another one into it anyhow...Especially if the pieces are collapsed into a mesh already. I'll try to work on him as quick as I can, but in the same breath I don't want to do a sloppy job on it...

Not only is it a good idea to model things yourself and learn... but 99.999% of all authors do not wish their models to be kit-bashed. That is.. taking parts of their models and using them in somebody elses model. It's not entirely ethical and against author agreements. Alot of people actually say this in the credit text files too.
