Is anyone attempting to model the new Ep3 badguy?

i started modelling him the day the insider cover was leaked.....i have a forearm(that does split) and the head mostly done...have started on the torso

if someone wants to host these pics please pm me with ur email so i can send them to you...i am very pleased with what i have acheived thus far

Not commenting on the modelling here, cause it looks good based on the reference...

But I keep wishing this design for a "bad guy" would grow on me, but I am sorry... this is a horrible, horrible design... cool for a new battle droid... cool for a saber duel training droid... a major evil character I'd rather see Darth Jar-Jar...

Don't lose all hope papa fett he may look more sinister in the movie. You know they'll mess with lighting and camera shots!...I think it's a cool new idea. Something different from the norm: sith vs jedi
crap. I think GL wants to establish the whole cyborg thing (ie:vader) in EPIII. Maybe this is the guy(or his people) vader gets to put him back together?

Sorry you don't like the design papafett. It's a brillian brilliant design IMO and I can't wait to see him in Ep3...

Nice work! I really like the arms you got them just right.

Darth Steven, someone asked me to pass along from the 3SA forum that they like your model so far, but that the eye holes of the mask look just a tad off in shape. They said the top should be flattened out just a bit to make him look a bit more sinister. I can see what they mean but I don't think its that big a deal, but I thought I'd pass it along all the same.


Can't wait to see the next batch of updates guys!

 

Yeah I can't wait either! I hate to say it but rebel scumm is right about the top part of the eye holes being off, the one in the picture isn't so arched...it's kinda just "almost" straight. You robo should also work together You can guys could probably share your files and ideas.

and this is a creepy shot of the general and his assassin droids, nothing that hasn't been seen before, but it gives a good sense of atmosphere.

I'm hoping Christopher Walken is the voice of Grievous, he's been rumoured to be up for so many roles in SW over the years, from Han to Dooku to Darth Bane.

 

Hmm I don't know about christopher walken...Doesn't sound right to me.
Anyway a biped is like the bones of the 3d model that allows it to move and be animated. Once it has a biped you can just load up a biped file into his biped and he will do what ever the biped does.

IE: I have running bipeds, walking bipeds, dying bipeds, climbing bipeds etc.
