    viola
    grievous can almost live
ive added his guts (not done yet) but i thought you guys should see it and tell me what you think.
ive recently found some new and very good refrence images and i put them to good use i think

    ive also reworked the pelvis
    awaiting critics and comments :)

maybe this wil get your attention

ive added the remaining cables to his collar
    and conected them apropriatly
also i worked a bit on the connection between his arms and his body (not done yet but close)
also his hips and pelvis area have been reworked quite a bit.
and ofcourse his guts are a bit more complete
i recently found some new refrence images that show that his upper legs are a bit difrent so i'll be reworking those very soon

It looks really nice. Can you try some basic material, no texture, just colors, so we can make a better idea of what it will look like when finished

Looks great, Ravenger. Are you going to add more polys to his chest plates? That's the only area that looks like it needs work.

This would be very easy to rigg with CAT, even the four arms. CAT can generate characters with as many legs or arms you want. I genetated an rigg that could work for an ATAT, just to see if it was possible. I think Character Studio sucks compared to CAT. But character studio comes with 3dsmax, CAT doesn't

You guys never cease to amaze. I wish I could do the CGI stuff on my computer, but unfortunately, I don't think our hard drive has enough space.

Show us more Grievous pics soon!

Aha, I've finally figured out how he managed his way into Lucasfilm:
First he went to Hurtz and rented one of these:

And stopped off at a Halloween shop and bought one of these:

Then he stood outside the front gates screaming.
Mista Lucas! Mista Nerdy Lucas! Your Governator needs you! Aarrarraagharaaa!

    I'll be back!

here i am again with an update of an nearly completed general grievous (model wise)
this may not be as exiting as a full grievous complete with lightsabers and all.

here's the revised leg of grievous

most of it is still the same but its been heavely modified to be more like the movie and i took the liberty to clean it up conssiderably cause the original leg was a mess wireframe wise.

    awaiting crits :)

    [image=http://img309.imageshack.us/img309/2158/grievous77fw.jpg]

note the unsmoothed leg next to it

It looks like there is a vertice welding issue along the seam of the mask in the forehead area....The way the light catches it, something doesn't look right there....Other than that, great piece of work!
