Lit Is Ben Skywalker a millennial?

I was sitting at the pub today with some friends, discussing Star Wars and thi question popped up:
Does Ben Skywalker display the signs of this 21st century social group?
(Is Ben Skywalker a millennial?)

Thought I might post it here to see how people argue.

 

I read this post the right way thanks to this amazing app.

 

If the question means "is Ben born between the early 1980s and the early 2000s?" (like I am), then the answer is "no."

 

He only has two eyes and isn't a Sith Lord, so no.

 

I would argue that Rey - abandoned by the older generation and forced to scrape a living in the wreckage of a former, more prosperous age, dreaming wistfully but delusionally of rescue, and eventually having to live out of her van, is a better bet. (The 'van' in this case would be the Millennial Falcon.)

 

Well he does whine a lot. He doesn't have any friends and next to no social life-so maybe not then?

Were there any details in FOTJ about his social media usage? If I were to look for awkward social media depictions in SW, I'd totally look for them in FOTJ. Maybe his Jedi Academy classmates were all keeping contact with him over the proper hip channels, constantly commenting on his adventures.
